Justification.
Breastfeeding is the ideal way to give the children the nurients they
need for growth and development. Almost all women can breastfeed, if they
had the right information, support from his family and from the healt care
system. The OMS recommmends colostrum (thick yellowish milk produced
in late pregnancy) as the perfect food for the newborn, and his
administration should begin in the first hour of life. Exclusive breastfeeding is
recommended during the first sixth months of life. Thats why as SCORA and
SCOPH we decided to make a workshop on breastfeedingto the National
Hospital San Juan de Dios puerperae in Santa Ana.

Objectives.
General: Expose puerperae about Breastfeeding.
Specific:
1. Identify the benefits of breastfeeding in the first hours of life.
2. Remove Taboos on Breastfeeding
3. Develop the right way to breastfeed.
4. Explain the pathologies that can develop if the purperae dont breastfeed in
a right way.
