Your Analysis
Why should teachers know about curriculum design?
It is important to the teachers to have their knowledge about the curriculum.Curriculum is the guide of the
teachers on what is taught to the students. Stakeholders of the curriculum need to know about it.

What do most principles and theories of curriculum development have in common? How is this commonality
expressed or spelled out in the curriculum of the class you have observed?

The students are the center of learning. The curriculum is based from the needs of the students. They modify the
curriculum if it is not appropriate to the needs and interest of the students.

Your Reflections

From your FS experience, keep in touch with our most meaningful learning and express it through abstract
visual representation. Please use appropriate colors to represent your feelings and significant learning.

What specific principle of curriculum development justifies the importance of cooperation and collaboration
among all stakeholders of the school?
Stakeholders are the one who decides if the activities or program of the school will continue or not. It is

Your Analysis

How important is it for teachers and curriculum planners to anchor their curricular plans to specific theories
and principles of curriculum development?
Theories and principle of curriculum are the guide in teaching what should the students learn. If the teacher
ignore it they would miss some learning aspects that the students should learn. Curriculum should be obey for the
learning of the students.

Aside from the teachers, who else should be involved in the curriculum planning? Explain our thoughts.
A good curriculum is democratically percieved. In planning the curriculum it should involve every
stakeholders like community, teachers, administrators, parents, students, principals etc.because they have
differnet perspective and experiences and interest. Curriculum should involved the stakeholders so that it will
be a good curriculum.

Your Reflections
From your FS experience, take a look into your significant learning and personal reflection. Express it in a
simple poem. Then share it with your classmates and FS teacher.

The Teachers
There are different kinds of teachers.
There are strict, kind, idol, lazy, etc.
But i know all of them are there to guide the
Students behaviour and to gives us knowledge and informations
that we will use not only in school but in everyday life.

They are diverse but they have one goal

And that is to educate students.

Your Analysis
Why do teachers need to align the objectives, strategies and assessment?
It is important that your strategies and assessment are parallel to your objectives. Because you cannnot
achieve the set learning objectives if your assessment and strategies are not aligned. Also you cannot evaluate
properly if your students learn what shoul they learn base on your objective.

How should teachers align their objectives, strategies, and assessment? Suggest some strategies.
First set your objectives for your lesson but your objectives must be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Result
oriented and Time bound. Then choose and use strategies that is aligned to your objectives and it is also based on the
needs and interest of your students. Then prepare an assessment that is anchored on your objectives to test if your
students achieve your objectives for them.

Your Reflections
What has been your most meaningful experience in this episode? What makes it meaningful to you?
How could such an experience help you become a better teacher?

My most meaningful experiences for me in this episode are when I ask the challenges or objectives
of the teacher and their strategies to meet their goal or objectives. I realize their hard work to meet and give
the learning needs of their students. This situation helps me to do all my best and be a good teacher that will
provide all the learning needs of the students for their improvement and for their better future
