The Miracle of the Cross

We will start out with this. In the Garden of Eden lived a couple named Adam and his
wife named Eve. They lived happily together, until one day, Eve got the idea to eat of the
fruit God forbade them to eat. Seems simple enough. But to God it was not quite so
simple. You see when He (God) asks you to do or not do something, He has a reason for
it, and we may not understand the reasoning. Back to the story. What they did not know
was something would happen to totally change the world as they knew it. It was a
supernatural thing that only God could do. A new dimension came into the world that
had not existed there before it is the result of that mistake, called sin. Now sin means to
miss the mark or to miss the bulls eye on a target. It does not mean you missed the
whole target but you did miss the spot you were to hit. This is how sin affects us. It
doesnt mean we are totally worthless, it means we are not perfect. It meant blindness
came over mans eyes so he could not see as he had before he blew it with eating the fruit
of this tree. And the result of that error is it means all mankind is blind to Godly things.
And now see things distorted, one might say.
Now God already knew all this would happen before hand, and already had a plan to
redeem his beloved mankind in mind. You see He missed the closeness He once had with
the ones He created. And He wanted that communion or fellowship back that was lost
due to this change that took place supernaturally. He made this return to fellowship
possible by using a mystery that cant been seen or understood by eyes that cant see.
Now in order to see is really quite simple. Ask Him!
What is this mystery you ask? Here it is. It is a perfect man died on an old rugged cross
in your place because of blindness caused by Adam and Eve. This was the biggest and
gravest mistake, of all mankind.
What are you to do you ask as you stare at this mystery? It is simple again, Confess you
have been blind and have not seen Him, as He has wanted you to see Him and believe
what He says and what He has done.
Now what you say? A miracle happens, and a supernatural transformation, that is what
happens. Sure you cant touch, smell, or understand it. But you can accept it all.
This miracle that takes place is the blindness to God is gone. He lifts the weight of the
blindness, darkness, sin whatever you want to call it, and now you can see. We can
understand the things of God that made no sense before the miracle of this old rugged
cross. We have two things here, (one) is we have a mystery that is we dont know how
it happens, and (two) is the miracle takes place weather we understand it or not.
We call this the power of the cross. It creates a brand new person; we call bornagain. Every person must be born again to know God and go live in eternity with Him.
John 3:3,7,16 The power is hidden until you believe what can happen at the cross. None
of us understand it-dont even try to think it through. The message of the cross is
foolish to those who are blind to it. But the moment you believe and accept it for you,

the miracle is done. Instantly your eyes are opened (blindness is gone) a new nature is
placed inside to understand Godly things and you are now changed and in full fellowship
with the God who created you and better yet He chose you for this miracle.
Now a smart person will take this and run with it. First of all, only those whom God
chooses will He draw and bring to the old rugged cross Only to those does He give the
opportunity to chose, and yes, the choice is up to us, if we will listen and say yes when
He calls. John 15:16
You are faced with making a choice today The choice is yours, choose Him, today.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are my
friends, if you do what I ask of you.
| John 3; 3,7,16 says: Jesus said to (Put your name here), Unless one is born again He
cannot see the kingdom of God.
Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again
WHY?
For God so loved the world (you) That He gave his only Begotten Son
That whoever (you) Believes in Him Will have eternal life
None of this makes sense to the ways of this world but will make perfect sense after the
mystery of the cross is established in you. Isa 42:16
After the cross vs before the cross: Before the power of the cross you can not see:
There is a God
cant see the necessity of the cross
cant see the resurrection of Christ or you and me resurrected either.
cant see the love of God in Christ
cant see a new life in Christ
cant see the power of Christ
After the power of the cross you can see them all. God in Christ alone can solve all
your difficulties, failures, and conflicts. And His power is only in those lives who are
willing to believe in Gods mystery that Jesus Christ the perfect man died, that was
born of God, on a old wooden cross for you and me. He did this because of His vast
love for us and so He could have fellowship with us. Remember none have had this
fellowship since Adam and Eve made the great mistake. And he changed all of creation
as the result of that mistake.
It appears foolish to the blinded man full of human wisdom, but to God is makes perfect
sense.
Now you are given some things, if you have believed and accepted this miracle provided
for you by Jesus Christ and only His name can be used. As He is the one who did it.
When you accept this miracle you put on the mind of Christ, which is the same thing as
the mind of God. And what's on Gods mind is this and it is for you whenever you will
need it. Now God is Spirit not flesh and blood as we are. And Isaiah says the Spirit of

God is seven fold, it is: wisdom, understanding, strength, knowledge, fear of God, and
counsel. All, these attributes come with the miracle. You have these things at your
disposal, Id say it about covers it all.
Some things you need to: You need to learn how to live this new life God has
miraculously given you. You do this by:
Reading His Word, and learn to do things His way. Dt 8:2
Talk to Him, every day Jer 29:12
Listen to Him when He shows you His ways then Thank Him for everything. Jer 33:11
He breaks down the barrier of the dividing wall between God and man.
Please accept this plan that God set up for you and me.
