    Opinions on The Apology

    Appears to be slightly cynical, pompous a pain in the arse.


    Did he corrupt the youth? forced them to think for themselves and create
    their own opinions therefore, those charges are severe and unjustly thrust
    upon him
    Alcibades was a student very immoral had no qualms about swapping
    sides in a war for his own personal gain and glory
    Perhaps the Athenians hated Soc b/c of the way he argued it allowed the
    immoral to direct their arguments in a manner which allowed them to be
    heard
