Heads 4. To assist the Public Elementary and Secondary School Heads in the formulation of new School Improvement Plan (SIP) and to strengthen the School-Based Management (SBM) practices reemphasizing the centrality of learners and the involvement of relevant community basic education service delivery, the Schools Division Office of Rizal through the School Govemance and Operations Division (SGOD) will conduct 2 half-day Reorientation on School Improvement Planning (SIP) and Revisiting the Revised Implementing Policies of School- Based Management (SBM) on August 20 and 25, 2015 at the DepEd Conference Hall of Schools Division Office of Rizal, 8:00 AM - 12:00 NN for morning sessions and 1:00 PM — 5:00 PM for afternoon sessions. 2. The aforementioned half-day seminar seeks to: ‘a. reorient and re-equip the school heads on the principles and process of School Improvement Planning as well as on the revised School-Based Framework; b. guide the school heads in the preparation of School Improvement Plan and Continuous Improvement Pian as described in The School Improvement Plan Toolkit, and in the compliance, completion and assessment of documents! artefacts of School-Based Management; and . present the needed templates and the revised assessment, monitoring and evaluation tools that will serve as guides in SIP/AIP formulation and ‘SBM implementation, in identifying needs for the provision of technical assistance, and in preparation for accreditation process and standard. 3. The working committee, schedule, and training matrix of the activity are contained in Enclosures 1 and 2 4, Each school head shall bring the previous School Report Card and School Improvement Plan to be used as reference in sessions and workshops. 5. A registration fee of one hundred pesos (P100.00) shall be charged each participant to cover expenses for snacks and other incidental expenses chargeable against local funds. 6.
