Example Application for Issuing Guarantee

Silverline Pumps AG (Cologne, Germany) has signed a contract with
Mining PLC (Oslo, Norway) to deliver pumps and equipment.

Total Contract Amount : 500,000.00
It is agreed that seller has to provide a standard Performance Guarantee for
10% of the total contract value, valid until 31.12.2013.
On 20.05.2013 Silverline Pumps instructs Deutsche Bank Cologne to issue a
standard Performance Guarantee in English in favour of the buyer.
The guarantee should be delivered to the beneficiary by registered mail or
airmail.
The sellers contact is Peter Hartmann and the reference number for the
transaction is ABC123
All charges of Deutsche Bank should be debited to Silverline Pumps charges
account.

On 27th June 2013, Deutsche Bank Cologne issue its Performance
Guarantee based on instructions of Silverline Pumps AG (Cologne,
Germany) in favour of Mining PLC (Oslo, Norway).

We have been informed that you, Mining PLC, FirTree Avenue, Oslo NORWAY, hereinafter called the BUYER
have concluded the contract No. ABC123 of 20th May 2013, hereinafter called the CONTRACT, with Pumpen
AG, 50829 Cologne, GERMANY, hereinafter called the SELLER, according to which the SELLER will deliver to
the BUYER pumps and equipment, in the total value of EUR 500.000,00.
As agreed the SELLER has to provide a bank guarantee in favor of the BUYER, amounting to 10 percent of the
total value, i.e. EUR 500.000,00 , to cover the fulfillment of the SELLERs obligations under the CONTRACT.
In consideration of the aforesaid
