Eagle-Eye Cherry provient dune famille dartistes, son

pre tant le trompettiste de jazz Don Cherry, sa sur
Neneh Cherry et sa demi-sur Titiyo du ct sudois. Peu
aprs sa naissance, il dmnage avec son pre New York
o il commence sa carrire musicale.

Aprs la mort de Don Cherry en 1995, Eagle-Eye Cherry

revient Stockholm avec sa petite amie et se concentre
sur lcriture de chansons. Il enregistre peu aprs Desireless (en 1996), un succs en Scandinavie et dans le reste
de lEurope. Sa chanson suivante, Save Tonight, devient
son premier succs international. Son deuxime album,
dat de 2000, Living in the Present Future, ne rencontre
cependant pas le mme succs.
