found in Asian region.
Must be considered geographical situation,
the aging of the population, environmental
degradation, poverty, for political reasons.
The need for disaster nursing education and
disaster nursing activities in Asia has been found.
METHODS-1
Design Descriptive design (Fact-finding Survey)
Area 16 Asian countries including Japan
Subject Japan:164 universities and/or nursing departments
Asian countries except Japan:256 Universities and/or
nursing departments
The questionnaire was distributed to presidents or deans of the
nursing universities and/or nursing departments.
We asked them to give the attached questionnaire to appropriate
persons within the Department of Nursing Faculty who teach courses
on disaster nursing would be most appropriate.

The Japanese Red Cross College of Nursing will be the center
for education and research on disaster nursing at national and
international level.

Conclusion
1 We have done the disaster nursing education
project in three years to target each
organization and researcher.
2. Through what gained regarding their
knowledge, attitude, behavior change and the
self-evaluation, we were able to confirm the
success of the support system.
