Clear Lake Township has brief meeting

Tuesday nights Clear

Lake Township meeting
had a short agenda consisting of the road report and a
couple requests from residents.
Road Report
Engineer Terrance Vander Eyk informed the board
he had met with 37th Ave.
concerning
landowners
drainage improvements on
the cul-de-sac and will be
meeting with the contractor
within the next week.
A motion was passed
approving $1,975 for the
projects contractor contract.
Vander Eyk told the
board he had just been
made aware of another

failed area on 71st st. He is

working on a design and
detail estimate for the project, but warned it will be an
expensive project.
A survey will be scheduled, and as discussed last
month, he said they were
still looking at excavating
to the water line and installing a geogrid and culvert.
Due to the pond along
the road, a number of environmental agencies will be
reviewing the project for
approval. Chairman Gary
Gray asked for the proposal
to include the fact that the
road is needed for township
residents.

system and are concerned
