12 Promises We have In HIM

IN HIM
The Good News. We have all these tremendous gifts from God because we have
accepted Jesus as Lord. We have confessed our sins, confessed His Lordship, and turned
away from our old way of living. We believe that He was dead, buried and resurrected.
When we accept Him as Savior and Lord, we accept His leadership in our lives.
The joy that fills our hearts is often intensified when we begin to understand all the
blessings we now walk in.

In HIM
In Christ, in whom, and in Him. Write them down. It will help you to remember
them. There are 133 such phrases in the New Testament. Read and meditate on these
scriptures until they become a part of you, life will be different for you. As you read these
verses, say to yourself, This is who I am. This is what I have in Christ Jesus.

1. We have freedom in Him.

Galatians 2:4-5
But because of false believers secretly brought in, who slipped in to spy on 6the
freedom we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might enslave us, we did not submit to
them even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might always remain with
you.
2. We are justified in Him.
Galatians 2:15

We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is
justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus.
3. We receive the blessings of Abraham.
Galatians 3:14
In order that in Christ Jesus the blessings of Abraham might come to the Gentiles,
so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
4. We receive the righteousness of Jesus Christ
Galatians 3:22
But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was
promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Romans 3:22
The righteousness in God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe.
5. We become Children of God.
Galatians 3:26
For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.
6. We are clothed with Him
Galatians 3:27
As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
7. We are one in Him.
Galatians 3:38
There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave of free, there is no longer
male or female, for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
8. In Him we have redemption.
Ephesians 1:17
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses,
according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us.
9. In Him we have gained an inheritance.
Ephesians 1:11-12
We, in Him, have obtained an inheritance, having been designed according to the
purpose of Him who accomplished all things according to his counsel and will, so
that we, who were the first to set our hope in Christ might live for the praise of His
glory.

10. In Him we have been sealed, marked with the Holy Spirit
a pledge of our inheritance toward redemption as Gods own people to the praise
of His glory.
11. In Him, we have gained access to the throne.
Ephesians 3:11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose that he has carried
out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have access to God in Boldness and
confidence through faith in him.
