The density of water affects the depth of immersion //

The depth of immersion depends on density of liquid
The higher the density of a liquid, the smaller the depth of immersion
To investigate the relationship between the density of liquid and depth of
immersion
Manipulated variable
: Mass of salt, m / density of liquid
Responding variable
: Depth of immersion, d
Constant variable
: Mass / Density of lead shot
Test tube, lead shot, salt, water, beaker, weighing scale, meter rule

Salt solution
(v) 1. 5 g of salt is dissolved in water in a beaker. Test tube containing lead shots is
placed in the salt solution so that it floats vertically in water.
2. The depth of immersion, d is measured.
3. The experiment procedures are repeated with different masses of salt of 10 g,

The magnetic field strength affects the induced current
The higher the strength of magnetic field, the bigger the induced current
To investigate the relationship between the magnetic field strength and the
induced current

1. One bar magnet is dropped from a height, h = 10 cm into the copper coil.
2. The maximum reading, I, of the milliammeter is recorded.
