PRIMERA PARTE : PRESENTACION

SANT : Hola Shirley , como estamos cerca a Halloween , te quiero contar una
historia de terror . Se llama el misterio del chupacabras .
Hello Shirley, as we are close to Halloween , I want to tell a horror story. It is called the
mystery of the chupacabra.
SHIRL : O si , yo tambin he escuchado algo de esa historia. Que sabes
acerca de ella?
SANT : Segn cuentan , una maana de 1995 aparecieron cientos de
animales muertos en las granjas de puerto rico , muchas gallinas ,conejos ,
pollos, vacas , cabras , incluso caballos . Sin saber el porque ninguna tenia
sangre , era como si algo se las hubiera chupado.

They say, one morning in 1995 were hundreds of dead animals on farms in
Puerto Rico , many chickens, rabbits , chickens , cows , goats, even horses.
The strange thing was that they had no blood, it was as if something had
sucked their blood . This incident actually surprised all over the country

Shirley : Yo tambin escuche algo parecido , dicen que los animales tenan
marcas en el cuello como mordidas , como si un vampiro les hubiera
chupado la sangre.
Santi : Estos ataques al ganado siguieron por varios das , muchos animales
aparecan muertos cada maana . Hubieron ataques en varias partes de
Centroamerica, como en mexico ; tambin en pases como Venezuela,
Colombia , Brasil ,Panama , donde el mismo fenmeno se repetia.

These attacks continued for several days , many animals found dead each
morning. There were attacks in various parts of Central America, and Mexico ;
also in countries such as Venezuela , Colombia , Brazil, Panama , where the
same phenomenon was repeated the authorities did not know what to do.

This monster was allowed to kill, because the authorities could

not find it

Shirl : Los lugareos decien haber visto a una criatura escamosa de color
verde como un reptil , con garras y colmillos .
Sant : Si, tambin decan que tena grandes ojos rojos , media cerca 1.20
metros y tenia espinas en toda la espalda. Siempre atacaba de noche y
solo animales , nunca se reporto un ataca a un humano .

SEGUNDA PARTE : HIPOTESIS

Shirley : Algunas personas dicen que el chupacabras es solo una leyenda
inventada, algunas teoras dicen que solo fueron ataques de coyotes y lobos
que habitan en el lugar . Pero lo raro era que los coyotes no atacan de esa
forma , chupando la sangre , asi que esa teora quedo descartada.
Santiago : Otros creen que fue obra de un experimento fallido en animales ,
que fue modificado genticamente y escapo del laboratorio .

Shirley : Hay algunos que dicen que son ovnis que secuestran a los animales
para estudiarlos y luego los dejan sin sangre. O que fue una creacin de los
extraterrestres para asustar a la poblacin.
Santiago : Despues de tanto tiempo no se tienen pruebas claras de este
fenmeno , no hay fotos , no hay videos , la nica evidencia son los
animales muertos y los testimonios de las personas.

After all this time , scientists do not have clear evidence of this phenomenon ,
no pictures , no videos , the only evidence are the dead animals, and the
testimonies of people. . chupacabras could have been killed by locals, but

was never confirmed

Shir : En el 2003 , algunos cazadores dijeron haber capturado al chupa

cabras , pero cuando estudiaron el cuerpo descubrieron que solo era un
coyote con sarna.
Sant : Hasta ahora no se ha podido resolver el misterio del chupacabras .
Nadie sabe si aun sigue ah , o solo fue un invento . Lo seguro es que ser
un misterio por muchos aos mas.

At present, Today, the mystery of chupa cabra has not been solved
. Nobody knows if it's still there , or was it just an invention . What is certain is
that it will be a mystery for years to come .
