Logging in to New Aloha Manager or Configuration Center remotely, via Command

Center
1. Log in to Windows with Administrator rights to the machine, preferably the RadSvr or
Alohaservice user.
2. Open Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and select Show processes from all
users.
a. There should be two and only two instances of CmcAgent.exe running on the
machine: one under the User Name System and one under the User Name
of the Windows account under which you are logged in.
i. Kill any other instances of CmcAgent.exe that exist.
ii. If there are no instances of CmCAgent, refer to the Applications section
of the Store Manager screen in Command Center.
1. If in that section you see the red example below, you are on an
outdated version of Command Center and will need to upgrade
by going here:

https:\\rdf2.alohaenterprise.com\client\cmcinst.zip
2. You should then see the green example below:

b. There should be no instances of AeMShellProcessor.exe or

CFCSHellProcessor.exe. If there are, kill them. The task Manager should look
like something like this:

3. Test the process by clicking on the orange CF icon in the CMC client.
a. You should see CmCPopup.exe appear in the Task Manager

b. If you see this, the pop up absolutely will appear on your screen. Just give it
time.

c. After entering the code, CmCPopup.exe will disappear. At this point, one of
two things will happen:
i. If either AeMShellProcessor.exe or CFCSHellProcessor.exe appear in the
Task Manager, all you need to do is wait for the Shell to open.
ii. If neither appears, leave task manager open but close the VNC window.

1. Again, click on the orange CF icon in the CMC client.

2. From the pop up, click the Launch VNC button.

3. After the VNC session opens and you have entered the code,
CmCPopup.exe will disappear and either AeMShellProcessor.exe
or CFCSHellProcessor.exe will appear.

4. Once you see this, the Shell will, in time, open.

4. There are no known instances of anyone being unable to remotely log in to CFC or
New AM after following the steps in this document. If you remain unable to log in
after following these steps, first have a coworker try. If they too fail, then contact
Hosted Solutions support for further assistance: support@alohaenterprise.com.
