So Darcey, what caused this accident?

Hello Lucy, well it is still unclear as to what caused the collision, but what seems
to have happened is that an empty cart at the top of the loop which rocked down
to the bottom. Then roughly five minutes later another kart full of people collided
with the empty kart. These people were then trapped on the roller-coaster where
emergency services arrived and stretchered passengers off. Yet it was five hours
after this accident that the last air ambulance left.
What can we tell about the future of the park and its victims?
Alton towers sill stayed open for the rest of the day, but tonight they have just
released that the park will in fact be closed tomorrow. And it is now understood
that the some of the passengers have sustained life changing injurys. back to
