The struggles of being a student and how I deal with it

Back when I was still a kid, I have always perceived school as an avenue for learning and
fun and truly, it really is. As a student, there are a lot of things to consider and decide on.
Sometimes, temptations are there to test on how I should make my decisions for in every choice
that I make there will always be consequences. In school, I was taught on what is right and
wrong and I am very much thankful that I get to learn these things at such an early age because
these are the fundamentals of my being.
Being a school girl has never been easy, obstacles and challenges are always on the way.
Sometimes, I get so tired and knocked up that I dont get to study my lessons anymore and when
tomorrow comes, I am afraid of the consequences that I will face for not studying my lessons.
They say that the easy way to pass without even sacrificing sleep is to cheat but as for me, I
firmly believe that it is unethical. I will always prefer an honest zero than a cheated perfect score.
The word ethics may not be always talked about in our day to day conversations but I am
very much aware that I am applying it in my everyday life. As I am on the final steps of my
student life, I am faced with a much bigger role and responsibility towards the world. Questions
have been bugging through my mind on what are the necessary steps that I should take to ensure
that the road to graduation will be smooth and clear. I know the road is going to be tough, there
will be a lot of people who will support me or may bring me down but one thing is for sure, no
matter what road I will be taking, I will always do what is right and good. Our perception over
things may have been different for we are raced differently but what always boils down is that
the right and ethical things will always lead us to where we aspire to be. As a student, I do
believe that grades are not measures of who I am as a person rather it is my values and principles
that shaped me to who I am right now.
