UNCERTAIN ALLIES OR UNCOMFORTABLE NEIGHBORS? MAKING SENSE OF
CHINA-NORTH KOREA RELATIONS, 1949-2010.
This article, uncertain allies or uncomfortable neighbors? Making sense
of China-North Korea relations, 1949-2010 written by Jae Ho Chung and
Myung-hae Choi. In this article, what the writers try to tell us is about the
history of China and North Korea relationships. He also tried to states how
well does the communication between China and North Korea. Another
things that he wants to convey is how China and North Korea became a
trusted allies. He also tried to showed how effective has China been in
inducing North Korea. The time line is between 1949-2010.
In history, it tells us that China and North Korea relations are not usual
asymmetric dynamics between a great power and a smaller nation. North
Korea inherent concern and sense of insecurity in the facing strong China.
Chinese and North Korea communist were allies against Japan during the
world war 2 and against America during the Korean War. The most
