We just completed POC on connecting to SAP HANA system using Informatica 9.6. Able to read and write the data
from HANA tables.
Below are the points to be noted in order to configure the connection.
Infromatica Server Side :On which OS your Informatica Sever is installed. In our Case, AIX 64 bit, So from SAP Market place you need to
download SAP HANA Client compatiable for AIX 64 bit.

When verified in Market place, Able to find most of the OS compatible's SAP HANA client softwares,Guess it might not
be big deal to find something fit's your Server.
Make sure download both SAP HANA Client SAR and CAR files, as you should extract SAR file using CAR file.
As soon as you install the SAP HANA client, you should see the HDBODBC drivers. Establish a connection using those
drivers to SAP HANA system.
Informatica Client Side :You need to install SAP HANA Client and SAP HANA Studio.Make sure to install them as Adminstrator
Check your Informatica client is 32 bit or 64 bit, (Please keep in mind, not your laptop configuration of 32 bit or 64 bit).
If the informatica Client is 32 bit and you installed it in your laptop of 64 bit, Only download SAP HANA client 32 bit only
from SAP Market Place. Again need to download the OS comptiable SAP HANA Client (SAR and CAR).
In my case, i installed Informatica 32 bit client in Windows 64 bit. So i downloaded SAP HANA 32 bit client compitable
for Windows.
You can download SAP HANA Studio (32 or 64 bit, it doesn't matter) compitable to windows from Market Place and
install it.
If you did install them properly, you could see the HDBODBC32 Drivers for 32 Bit client, or HDBODBC for 64 Bit client
in you Informatica connections.
Hope this details should be good enough to establish connection between SAP HANA and Informatica.
