ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

It is privilege for me in submitting my thesis in the

Tapobhoomi of Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya. I am not alone in this
journey to accomplish this task in the garden of God Shiv ji or
Mahadev. Without the blessing of Lord Shiva would have not been
easy to achieve this milestone of my life. Many hands helped me to
complete my research work in various ways. Now it is my pleasure to
acknowledge all such supports.
First of all, I would like to express my deep sense of
gratitude to my thesis supervisor Prof. C. M. Chaturvedi for her
excellent advice and excellent guidance from the very early stage of
my research as well as giving me extraordinary experiences
throughout the work, and for providing the homely support during this
entire work. Her involvement with her originality has triggered and
nourished my intellectual maturity that I will benefit from, for a long
time to come. It has been a pleasant and rewarding experience for
me to work under her able guidance.

Life blessed me with the

opportunity to meet Professor C.M Chaturvedi for joining her for my

Ph.D. work.
I am extremely grateful to my RPC members Prof. Chandana
Haldar (DRC nominee), Prof. Amitabh Krishna (internal subject expert)
and Dr. S.P. Singh (external subject expert from Dept of Biochemistry,
BHU) for their continued guidance and suggestions throughout my
research work. With an overwhelming sense of gratitude, I would like
to acknowledge to my teachers in Ph.D course work whose valuable
teachings/suggestions have always been a good source of inspiration
and encouragement during my research work. I thank to Prof. S.K
Singh and Dr. M. Singharavel for providing photoperiodic room/boxes
in one of my experiment.
I am thankful to my seniors, especially Dr. Rashmi
Srivastav, Dr. Sumit Sethi and Priyanka Singh for their kind help and
co-operation during the entire period of my research work. I would

like to acknowledge with a sense of gratitude to my colleagues Vineet

Prakash Singh and Saba Shahin in the lab who has given me a lot of
support and suggestion at every step of my research work. They
helped me in resolving the problem which came time to time during
the course of work.
My heartful thank to my Juniors Somanshu Banerjee,
Rashmi Richa, Arun Kumar, Vivek Kumar Misra, Manoj Kumar and Ms
Pallavi for providing their joyful, peacefull and helpful company so as
to complete my job easily. Without them it could not have been
possible to finish my work in easy way. Thanks to dissertee of lab
Priyadarshini, Saurabh, Prerana, Rupnita, Awaneet and Komal for their
good wishes.
I am extremely grateful to Dr. Snigdha Mohan, Dr. Huma

encouragement time to time in various steps. I extend my thanks to

Yadav and his wife Smt. Maya Kumari Yadav (Bhabhi) always
supported to provide me extra strength and moral support for doing
better and better. My brother encourages me and ask my every type
of problem time to time, so I have lack of words to express my feeling
towards him. I would like to thank my little niece Prakriti Yadav to give
me for her silent wishes. At last, I extremely thankful to my elder
sister Smt. Girija and her children Sadhana, Sarita, Dinesh, Ravi for
helping me in various laborious jobs and silent wishes before and
during my research work.

They are always ready to help me, so I

have proud on them.

And last but not the least, I would like to offer my wholehearted indebtedness to my Father Late Agnu Prasad Yadav and

mother, Smt. Jantri under whose clemency I have safely gone through
the hurdles that used to hamper my success towards completion of
the thesis. Without their support it is impossible for me to complete
this job.
