Siddharthvillage Community School of Ecology, a social business

enterprise has now Woodsong World Resorts at Kakirigumma and
Jatni in Orissa and Wayanda at Kerala. You may now think of
organising your serious high level conferences at these resorts with
star hotel facilities [simple yet luxurious
with respect for local
wisdom]. You may also book cottages for guests who come to South
Orissa Bhubaneswar and Kerala and utilise our campus facilities.

Following facilities are available at Kakirigumma:

Luxurious eco friendly cottages with the touch of tribal

culture with beautiful modern bathrooms.
Well equipped conference hall for 40 persons with
LCD projector and sound system
Hydrum installation- lifting water without electricity
and diesel and other recycling techniques will enable
the visitors to learn a lot about environment
conservation.
Aesthetic garden with rare flower plants, sun set point,
hill trek, emmu and other rare birds including ducks
[endangered species], turkeys, horse ride, bullock
cart ride add to the joyful stay in the campus.
Uninterrupted electricity supply with power generator
and solar lights make the stay comfortable.
While steam bath facility, wholesome organic
vegetarian food and unpolluted fresh air promise to
rejuvenate the body; meditation on the hills in space
carved out without disturbing the rustic natural beauty
aids the serenity of mind.

The cottage charges at Kakirigumma - Orissa

Round cottage (525 sqft.) double bed for couple:Rs. 1500 per day / Euro 30
Square cottage (450 sqft.) two single bed:
Rs. 1200 per day/Euro 25 per day
Luxurious simple cottages (325 sqft.) single:
Rs. 900 per day/Euro 15
Conference hall with all equipments including sound system: Rs. 3000 per day/Euro 50
Additional cots can be arranged only in the square cottages for Rs. 300 per day/Euro 5

Visit the organic farms and pick up your vegetables, feel at home and
interact with the kitchen staff to get the food as you like... charges
extra.
Want to learn to make organic manure?! Yes, you can, if you inform
the management in advance.
Those who book the whole campus for minimum 25 persons can avail
the conference hall facility free of cost. (we charge based on number
of participants for accommodation including food and it can be
negotiated with the management)
For grass root level training, dormitory facilities for 30 persons and the
separate kitchen with beautiful open restaurant [dine under
umbrellas!] are made available.. The rates for these programmes can
be negotiated with the management.
The income from this Wood song world resorts will be used to support
the innovative endeavours of tribal women's organisations in Orissa
and also other indigenous people's organisations in India. It is also
open to spread its wings to the villages so that the villagers run this
initiative on their own to support their own organisations or villages.
