Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a comprehensive high school in Riverside County, California, with an
enrollment of over 4,200 students. The school celebrated its ten-year anniversary in 2016. The schools
62-acre campus is nestled in a growing suburban area called Eastvale, in the greater Inland Empire
region. The four corners of the school are literally sandwiched between rows of new housing

tracks and existing farms and dairies. The 2016-2017 school year has welcomed the first class of

freshman to the Eastvale STEM Academy; plans to open a multi-level STEM facility on the ERHS

of 2016
campus in 2018-2019 remains in place. This will potentially add another 800 students
to the growing ERHS campus and community at large.
In the last ten years, Eleanor Roosevelt High School students have started making
their mark in various national and state academic award programs such as the
National Merit Scholarship Program, the Gates Millennium Scholar program, Boys
State, and the prestigious Questbridge College Matching Program.
Eleanor Roosevelt High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools
and Colleges (WASC). In 2016 ERHS was again recognized by the US News & World
Report as one of the states best high schools, this time receiving a silver medal for its
College Readiness Index of 29% (derived from AP exam pass rates). In addition
Eleanor Roosevelt High School received national recognition from US News & World
Report as a School that Beats the Odds for preparing all students for college.
Eleanor Roosevelt High School Mission Statement
The schools mission is to create a dynamic, innovative learning environment that
meets the needs of our diverse student body, guiding students toward excellence in
college and career readiness, while challenging them to be responsible citizens.
Students
Eleanor Roosevelt High School supports a diverse student body. Among the 4,200 students enrolled in
August 2016, there is a small, but robust, presence of special needs students ages 14-22 who participate in
general education classes and school activities.

Grade levels included are 9th through 11th grades (including summer session) for 6th semester transcript; 9th through first
semester 12th for the 7th semester transcript. All semester and/or yearlong courses are included. Specific rank is reported for each student.

Grade Point Average Computation:


A = 4 points B = 3 points C = 2 points D = 1 point F = 0 point
In determining Grade Point Average, one point per semester is added for each course taken from Advanced Placement and Honors level
courses as noted on the transcript.

Transcript Data:
9-12 Weighted GPA: This represents all m arks earned during grades 9-12 including the extra grade point weight for any
Honors or AP coursework.

9-12 Unweighted GPA: This represents all marks earned during grades 9-12 on a 4-point grading scale.
***Advanced math or foreign language courses taken in middle school are not reflected on the ERHS transcript.
Community Service is not required for graduation.

Eleanor Roosevelt High School: Curriculum


Eleanor Roosevelt High School offers a rigorous academic curriculum. The majority of classes are offered at the College
Preparatory level. Students who meet course prerequisites may enroll in Honors and Advanced Placement courses. There
are six class periods in a two-day rotating block schedule. The Corona Norco Unified School Districts minimum credit
requirements for high school graduation are listed below.
