Advance Payment

No advance payment will be given.

Time for Completion of Work

The Bupplier must submit day wise Dump truqUlorry


Movement and ,illing plan within 48 hrs. of receiving the
work order.

To be done after 7 days of starting the supply. Withln this


period the supplier must supply sand @ 70,000 cft per
day. After successful completlon of the supply both the

Materials, Machinery and

reason

The suppller should supply sand as per attached technical

equipment

specification. Before starting supplying sand the supplier


must approve samples of sand. The approval to be given
by the project manager of the Employer on the basis of
laboratory test result. Required no of Dump truck having
capacity of about 10 Cum per dump truck to be deployed
by the suppliers to meet the programme submitted by the

subcontractor must submit the copy of required papers of
the Dump truck like registration cerlificate, fitness
certificate and other papers as may be required by the
Employer for getting them epproved from BATB authority.
Employer/BATB has the right to reiect any non-standard
material, machinery and equipment. The supplier must

date of completion without any delay and prejudice, "

t5. Safety Compliance

Tk. 20,000(Twenty Thousand) per day


The supplier shall be required to comply with BAT
Bangladesh safety regulations \ryhile on site. Required
training to be provided regarding the safety compliance of

BATB. lf any person deployed by the supplier fails to


comply the rule of Environment, health and safety (EHS)
he will not be permitted to work in the project area and his
work permit shall be cancelled. Required replacement to
be done immediately by the supplier so that the progress
of work is not hampered. The supplier must supply proper
Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) like safety boot,
helmet,. gumboot, gloves, goggles and other as may be
required by the BATB authority.
16. Compensation fo; Damage

The supplier must compensate for any loss or damage of


existing structures like, warehouse, HBB road, Security
shed, and other utilities within the premises of the work
area,

17. Approval of the materials

Al[ machineries, equipments and any materials before


using must be approved by representative of the project in
charqe.

TESTING OF SUITABILITY OF FILL MATERIALS BEFORE START OF FILLING


Laboratory: Accredited laboratory.
Submit report to: Civil Engineer (two copies).
- Timing: in accordance with the contract documents and within zones of A or B of the
sieve analysis shown in lable A
Samples: Deliver to laboratory as required.

PLACING FILL
Surfaces of excavations and areas to be filled:,Free from loose soil. topsoil, organic
material, rubbish and standing water.
Adjacent structures, membranes and buried services:
- Do not overload, destabilise or damage.
- Submit proposals for temporary support necessary to ensure stability during filling.
- Allow 14 days (minimum) before backfilling against in sifu concrete structures.
Layers: Place so that only one type of material occurs in each layer.
Earthmoving equipment: Vary route to avbid rutting.
COMPACTION GENERALLY
General: Compact fitl not specified to be left loose as soon as possible after placing.
After compaction: Surface of each layer must be well clGed, showing no movement under
compaction plant, and without cracks, holes, ridges, loose material and the like.
Defective areas: Remove and recompact to full thickness of layer using new material.
