BIT OBJECTIVES
1. To develop quality skilled technicians and professional technologist in their chosen field of
specialization (Automotive and Electrical Technology) as agents in attaining the national
objectives
(NIC-hood status).
2. To promote a responsive, morally, culturally and globally competitive professional and
leaders.
3. To equip students with knowledge and skills necessary for technical vocational instruction,
entrepreneurship and industrial and service shop management.
4. To elevate the morale of manual labor by educating the youth with quality technological
education
and skills development and;
5. To provide students with adequate industrial training and seminars to cope with the rapid
changes in technology.

Course Description:
This course highlights the general scope of work of an electrical technologist. With the
different field applications of electrical technology (residential wiring, design, installation,
testing, consultation, research and development) this course can be a free-flowing course in the
different fields.
General Objective
To understand and experience the different scope of work in Electrical Technology.
Specific Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Apply the general provisions of the Philippine Electrical Code in the different
working environment
2. Understand contracts and obligations ( as applied to Electrical Technology)
3. Know and experience the different stages of electrical works (as applied to
local settings and requirements)
4. Understand the different electrical safety standards
