Taught drama at Abilene High School in order to complete the undergraduate degree. Taught 6
classes daily for six months.
Chaplains Assistant 1984-1986
Functioned as the Chaplains driver, bodyguard, administrative assistant, and intake counselor for
the military population. Administered appropriated and non-appropriated funds.
US Army Soldier 1984 Teacher.
I taught the last class each Chaplains Assistant was required to pass to become a Chaplains
Assistant. This class taught the secure handling of official secret documents and how to process
secret information for clients.

VisionQuest Wilderness Camp, Pinedale, Wyoming
Lived with 25 adolescent males in a wilderness setting in Wyoming. The clients built their own
shelters, cooked food, and attended school four hours per day. Counseling took place in this
therapeutic camp under the guidance and authority of licensed staff.

Jailer 1979-1981
Taylor County Jail, Abilene, Texas
Booked and fingerprinted incoming perpetrators. Made decisions regarding appropriate cell mates
and division of population. Patrolled and maintained security of the jail.
Community Service
Built community centers and drilled for water in Mexico.
Director of theatrical productions in churches and community centers.
