Clinical Hours
Thursday: 9 AM to 4:30PM
15 additional hours outside of clinical site
The visits with your clients or your agencies must be arranged within the assigned time
frame. There will be no faculty backup outside of the assigned time frame. DO NOT visit
your clients or agencies at any time other than 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
Conference hours:
Thursday: Pre conference 9 to 9:45 AM (Room 7) Post Conference 3:30 to
4:30pm
Assignment Information:
1) Assignments must be handed in at morning conference to the instructor on the
day they are due. Failure to do so without previous consultation with the
instructor will be viewed as not completing the assignment, and may result in
dismissal from the clinical.
2) In addition to assignments noted on this paper, the student may be asked to do
other activities. For example:
a. Present their patient to the clinical group (Caseload). Please be prepared
to present your patients at any time in clinical conference.

b. Special assignments such as a presentation of the illness or disease
process your client has.
c. Special assignments on specific issues i.e., elder abuse, home safety,
pain control.
3) Please be aware that your charting will be reviewed at any time. This is ongoing
process. If there is a problem with your charting, you will be notified and
expected to discuss the problem with your instructor immediately.
4) Assignments may be changed at the discretion of the faculty.
5) You will be expected to complete the client contact form (CCF blue forms), goals
and objectives, and weekly logs - weekly.
6) Absences will need to be made up either by attending an additional clinical day
arranged by the instructor or by outside assignments. More than (1) absence
from this clinical may reflect in an incomplete in the course.

Bring Materials to clinical: BP cuff, stethoscope, gloves, thermometer,
thermometer covers, tape measure, pen light, home visit carrying case,
CPR mask, pen and small tablet, etc.

Bring semester packet 147B (all sections)


Turn in Windshield Assessment Due today Assignment #1
