Lead the SCM Team to build Robust Supply Chain; Coach; Mentor; Guide; the Team in a
manner that keeps them self motivated and develop Organizational Objectives in a time
bound fashion.
Very strong Interpersonal Skills required to ensure Congenial atmosphere is maintained in
Cross functional departments.
Should be able to culminate a team culture and cohesive binding between; Warehousing;
Planning and Purchasing team.
Ensure Cost Reductions @7%SDC (Straight Direct Costs) for Annual procurement Value.
Play a Strategic role in keeping VP SCM informed about Market fluctuations on
Commodities; Confectionery; Provisions
and Packaging Items by maintaining a WPI Tracking information which would contribute in
taking strategic decisions.
Develop and establish process to ensure that Monthly closing of SCM is reported to Finance
including the Purchasing Spent/Logistics Cost & Warehousing Costs by 2nd of every month
for the previous Month.
Stringent checks and controls to be developed for Quarterly Vendor Reconciliations to drive
home the P&L closing on an ongoing basis.
Use Performance excellence tools to achieve business targets against AOP's and maximize
Staff Development
o Develop Team members and impart training
o Organize effective trainings in Domain Knowledge and Process Innovations.
o To motivate team members by involving oneself in addressing the bottleneck resolution up
to staff level.
o Internal Customer Service Satisfaction
o Meet Internal Customer Requirements by way of Defining and maintaining regular
Customer Supplier agreements.
