501.st troop in LEGOland Billund

COMING TOGETHER
Greetings all and thank you so very much for signing up for this event.
It’s been a long and hard time up to this event, and we hope you all will have a good troop and a pleasant
stay here in Denmark.

My name is Holse, SL-150, and I’m the 501st coordinator for this event, so if there are any questions or

On Friday the 18th of June, my deputy coordinator, Kenn SL-4080, and I will be in Billund around 1500
hours. The meeting point on Friday will be at Billund camp site which is about 300 metres from LEGOland
itself and about 1,5km from Billund airport.
Once you find us, you will be given a welcome packedge, with an access badge, lunch tickets for both
days and some other stuff.

Things to bring:
The signed up armor, a 501.st T-shirt ( your garrison T-shirt) your legion tag, and your good mood!!

About the cottages:

You will have to bring a sleeping bag or bed sheets and a towel. We can start checking in at 1500 hours
and we will have to be out again on Sunday the 20th at 0900 hours, except the UKG wich have their
cottages until Monday morning 0900hours. Please leave the cottages neat and tidy as we might come back
again next year.
If people need help with getting their luggage from the cottage area to legoland, I will be there with my
car and a trailer.

Saturday the 19th June will start with a welcome and briefing at 0830 hours at our very own entrance
behind LEGOland (see map) LEGOland will also like to greet and welcome all the trooper’s by them self at
0900 hours. The event itself starts at 0930 hours with the first troopers in armour and will end at 1800
hours. After that we will have a group photo with all 501st and supporters.

Saturday evening!! From 1900 hours there will be a roosted pig and accessories at our tent behind
LEGOland. Please keep in mind that there’s a day after too

Sunday morning we start off again at 0900 hours.

There are 3 things we have to do while we troop in LEGOland:

Parade: we have 2 parades each day. The first one at 1130 hours and the second one at 1700 hours.
Photo stand: we are bringing NG’s Danish photo background which we will use, LEGOland are providing a
professional photographer.
Patrol: when your squad is not in the photo stand, you will guard LEGOland from invading Rebels who will
try to get in, and hunt the droid cards from the guest’s + there will also be background set up around in
LEGOland itself, these the patrolling squads can use when the guest’s would like a pic. With us.

There will be rebel troopers available for an escort and we are free to move around the whole of
LEGOland, but, please, use common sense and remember to hunt those droid cards.
When you’re not signed up to do either photo stand or walk around you are free to do whatever you like, I
can only encourage troopers to form a squad and do some more walking around… but it’s totally up to
you!!.

Heroes, please ensure that no other hero character like yours is in the same place as you. In other words,
two Boba Fetts should not be in the same area at the same time.

Good to know:
You can pay with EURO’s in LEGOland and in some shops in Billund town.
The LEGOland event is a canon event, which means feks. that no buckets may be taken off and no smoking
or drinking is allowed in public. We are to act in character while being in armour.

 Before trooping in LEGOland Billund, each trooper has to sign a child protection declaration from
LEGOland (see attached file).
Several 501.st’s have asked if there would be any patch trading ect. ect. Nothing we have planed, but I
suggest just to bring the items you want to trade ;)
The event itself is as good as planned, there are some minor things we still need to solve, but we are
working on them as you read.
We would like to ask, if there is anyone out there who would be willing to bring a banner or a flag with
501.st legion tag.

There is still 2 spots free on the 50 list, due drop outs right now we need Sandtroopers but any 501.st
member will gladly be put on the list, but they have to act now!!.
