Creationism vs Evolution
What is creationism?
Creationism is the religious belief that the Universe and life originated "from
specific acts of divine creation." For young Earth creationists, this includes a
biblical literalist interpretation of the Genesis creation narrative and the
rejection of the scientific theory of evolution.
What is the evolution theory?
Evolution Theory or Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by
the English naturalist Charles Darwin (1809-1882) and others, stating that
allspecies of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of
small, inherited variations that increase the individual's ability to compete,
survive, and reproduce.
My own opinion:
According to James Ussher (1581-1656), Archbishop of Armagh, the first
day of creation was on Sunday 23 October 4004 BC. So the Earth is roughly
6000 years old.
First of all, I dont believe in only one of these theories. I actually believe
in both.
This conflict had been going on for many years. Usually, the combatants
are scientists and the church. So Ive decided that I want to believe in both.
What if evolution (Darwinism) and creation happened side by side at the
same time? Will it be that hard to accept? I believe in a theory that they did.
Let me explain.
In the beginning, there was nothing, then God said let there be light.
Before this, God was floating in a void of emptiness. Then he said Let there be
light. What if his command started the big bang? After the big bang you get
galaxies, stars and planets.
In physics, there are two kinds of matter in the universe. White matter or
dark matter. When you stare at the skies during night. The darkness between
them is dark matter. The earth, us, the sun, the stars, and the galaxies are
white matter. Whats the relevance of this? Youll see later.
Now you say, wait. Didnt creation happened in 6 days?
I answer that with another question. What if the days were eons?
An eon is an indefinite and very long period of time, often a period
exaggerated for humorous or rhetorical effect.

But clearly said day on the bible right? I have another theory. Language
discrepancies.
The Bible, wasnt originally written in English (obviously). The common
language during the time of Jesus Christ was Aramaic. As a proof, the Dead Sea
scrolls, found in 1947, the oldest copy of the Old Testament known to man, was
written in Aramaic.
Now, there are many words in Aramaic that cannot be directly translated
to English. For example, light and white in Aramaic were interchangeable (the
white and dark matter discussion above). So, the word eon might have been
mistranslated to day, theoretically.
I know all this because I had extensive research about this topic a few
years ago.
So, weve established that a day in Genesis, might be millions or even
billions of years.
On the second day, God created the sky. In the formation of planets. The
first step, taking up millions of years, is the formation of an atmosphere. Our
sky. This protects the planet from incoming meteorites that will keep
bombarding the planet, keeping it unable to cool down.
On the third day, God created the ground and the oceans. Now this
possible due to the planet cooling down.
Now you get where we are going. These days could all be related to
scientific processes.
Here comes the interesting part.
On the sixth day, God made land animals and then man. I know where
your thought is going. The primates, the ape.
Commonly, if a person believes in evolution. He believes that we came
from monkeys or apes.
This is a big misconception. Darwinism states that a particular branch of
these primates learned to walk upright. That was the first step in human
evolution. The brain being elevated from the ground became safer and
therefore had the opportunity to grow in size and complexity over millions of
years.
Now, if we evolved from apes according to Darwinism. Why are there still
apes?
We did not come from apes. We are separate from them. We had a very
unique ancestor. We have our own line of species, the Genus Homo. We are

Hominids, and right now we are the only branch left, Homo sapiens sapiens,
which literally translates to wise man.
Simply said, in this theory. God guided us, watched over us and saw
what is fit and which is better for us over the eons. He still does this up to this
date.
The theory I said above is a unifying theory between church and science.
Two bodies that were never at peace.
Scientist during the middle ages were branded heretics or crazy then
tortured. Galileo Galilei, inventor of telescope was branded crazy and then
imprisoned until he died by the church during his time. The church then hated
being questioned as they are the supreme authority in everything.
With this theory somehow, all men, whether a priest or a physicist will
believe in the same thing. That God is always there, watching over us.
Wouldnt that be great? When science weds religion?
