Foundation Training Course.
This course is an IRCA (International Register
of Certificated Auditors) certificated course in
the origin and Development of the current
Standards, the fundamentals and benefits of
quality and the role of management.

COURSE CONTENT PROGRAMME


The course gives a detailed introduction to
the requirements of the International
Standard ISO 9001:2008 and the related

Approach and the benefits in terms of
reduced costs and improved efficiency,
from the implementation of a system.

COURSE INTRODUCTION
This is an advanced course for those wishing
to gain an in-depth understanding of the
auditing skills required for effective internal
auditing of managements systems. Our expert
tutors' have combined a series of auditing
techniques to help build student confidence
and knowledge.
The course addresses the ISO 9000:2000
series of standards, but the skills acquired
are also applicable to auditing of
Environmental Management Systems.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND - PRIOR KNOWLEDGE


Personnel wishing to gain an insight into
auditing practice, those who will or currently
have responsibilities for auditing the Quality
Management System or for those who are
planning to attend the IRCA QMS Lead
Auditor Training Course.
Participants should have attended the IRCA
QMS Foundation Course Q1 or be able to
demonstrate knowledge of the ISO
9000:2005 series of standards including ISO

audits.

operate with independent assessment bodies

COURSE CONTENT PROGRAMME


Delegates are coached in the philosophy,
structure and implementation of Quality
Management Systems, the requirements of
ISO 9001:2008, along with reference to
ISO 9000:2005 including the guidance
document for improvement and managing
for sustained success, ISO 9004:2009 and
the techniques for auditing such systems.
Case-studies are examined in relation to
audit findings as the basis for developing
report-writing skills. Videos, role plays and
practical exercises are used to enhance the
knowledge and techniques involved in
undertaking audits.
