Section I: Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions
Career Insights is a subsidiary of Digital Bananas Technology Limited, a project management training
arm of Digital Bananas Technology Limiteds technology based programs, and is represented on the
careerinsights.tv website. Career Insights will provide the agreed training program with all registered
candidates but cannot guarantee work experience with Digital Bananas Technology Limited. All work
experience will be subject to availability and references will only be given based on the duration of
the candidates work experience with Digital Bananas Technology Limited. Once a specific date has
been booked, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions of the Career
Insights training programs. Please note the training programs are subject to change without notice.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Fees
Fees displayed on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge and maintained on a daily
basis. In the event of an order being placed against an accidental incorrect price, we will endeavour
to inform the purchaser of the error within seven days of the purchase being made, we will allow the
purchaser to either cancel the booking or choose to pay the additional difference in price.
Promotional codes against specific Career Insights (CI) offers are redeemable.
Current prices: Intensive Hands on Training in Project Management or Business Analysis with Career
Insights Tutors: 1790.00 including VAT.
If a candidate fails to attend an agreed introductory training session or full training
session upon paying a 300.00 deposit to secure a seat, the candidate forfeits
his/her 300.00 deposit. If the candidate agrees to join the training session upon
attending the introductory session but does not show up for their first class without
giving prior reason, the candidate also forfeits his/her 300.00 deposit. If the
candidate wishes to attend the full course, the 300.00 deposit will be paid towards
his/her fee of 1790.00. Once you have gained access to Career Insights training

materials (including videos, presentations, templates or documents or any form of

training materials from Career Insights), you are no longer entitled to a refund.
Terms of Payment
Payment to be made by major credit, debits cards and PayPal. The PayPal account is
team@careerinsights.tv
Payments can be made over the phone and confirmation will be received for payments
made.
VAT
Training fees quoted are inclusive of VAT which will be added and become payable as
applicable.
Availability
Career Insights sells open-dated training programs and the recipient is free to book their preferred
date. Our training programs are subject to availability. In order to avoid disappointment, we
recommend that our customers book well in advance and arrive early.
Booking
Candidates are expected to call the office to make bookings over the phone. Applicant will be
allocated a place with a deposit of 300.00. Please do not arrive at a venue expecting to attend a
session without first obtaining a booking confirmation email from Career Insights. Career Insights
will not be held liable for any costs incurred by you if you do not follow the procedure set out in
these Terms and Conditions and in your voucher pack.
Accommodation, Transport and Refreshments
Accommodation and transportation shall be sole responsibility of the applicants.
Light refreshments will be provided daily during the training exercise.

Training Program Duration

Details of the training program duration given on the website are to be used as a guide only. Most
introductory training session are based on a first come first served basis and only those who secure a
seat with a 300.00 deposit will be allocated seats. Upon registering for the full course, you will be
required to pay the balance the full fee of 1790.00, which will cover your training program for a
period of four Saturdays only between the allocated training times of:

Weekly Sessions
Monday to Friday 10am 5pm
Career Insights will not be held liable for candidate lateness, breakdowns in communication between
team members of the group in which you have been allocated, or allocation of materials once they
have been sent to your team leaders.
Work Experience
Work experience is at Digital Bananas Technologys discretion. We can choose to give you a
minimum of 4 weeks work experience or more subject to our terms and condition and fully at
Digital Bananas Technology discretion. You cant pay for work experience or work reference. Work
experience at Digital Bananas Technology is not a right you are entitled to but a privilege which can
be taken away from you at Digital Bananas Technologys discretion. Your payment only covers your

intensive training program with Career Insights which is either a one-week intensive training
program or a period of 4 consecutive Saturdays.
We can choose to terminate your work experience at any given time at our discretion or for one or
more of the following reasons:
1. The sensitive nature of the stage we are at in a project
2. Bad misconduct by a candidate (verbally or physically abusive, or any attitude that may be
deemed unacceptable by any member of Digital Bananas Technology Staff member)
3. Capability (not able to do the tasks given)
4. Fear of candidate leaking confidential information or actually leaking confidential
information.
5. Candidate has close connections with a competitor
6. Candidate has unauthorised access to commercial information or intellectual property.
Work references will only be given to candidates who show high level of competency skills in
application of project management methodologies and business analysis techniques.
You are not authorised to use Digital Bananas Technology Limited on your CV except you receive a
written confirmation provided you have completed your work experience at Digital Bananas
Technology Limited with good conduct and demonstration of high competency skills in project
management methodologies and business analysis by working on the live projects provided by the
company (Digital Bananas Technology Limited).
Your work experience commences from the date you are given access to live projects by your project
manager at Digital Bananas Technology Limited. You are not permitted to fabricate dates on your CV
in relation to Digital Bananas Technology Limited.
You must adhere to the office rules and regulations of the Digital Bananas Technology Limiteds
upon arriving for your work experience. Rudeness, abuse and assault on any member of staff
(verbally, mentally or physically) or damage to company property or theft of company property will
also result to an immediate termination of your training program and work experience with Digital
Bananas Technology Limited and no refund will be given as a result.

Conditions for using our parent company Digital Bananas Technology as your work reference
Only candidates with a minimum of 8 12 weeks experience will qualify to have their CV written by
Career Insights.
Work reference will only be given via evidence of work experience on basecamp and your
contribution must involve updating at least 70% of all PM related control and reporting documents if
you are a PM or 70% of requirement specifications and business cases if you are BA
DO NOT!
1. Put Digital Bananas Technology Limited on your CV until you have been with Digital Bananas
Technology Limited for at least 8 12 weeks and effectively contributed to a project. If you
do not comply with our terms, your details will be struck off our system. It is fraudulent to
have our name written on your CV when you have not participated in any project(s) while
you were volunteering. In case you eventually secure a role by using Digital Banana
Technology as a previous employer we will not hesitate to let them know that you did not
work at Digital Banana Technology.
2. Tell people Career Insights gives or sells references without actual evidence of work done as
we have never done this and will never do.
3. Tell people they can add Digital Bananas or Tellallmyfriends on their CV without attending
our induction and gaining practical work experience with Digital Bananas Technology.
4. Expect to receive a CV or reference right after completing your training. CVs will only be
written based on evidence of work done.
Safety
Please follow the health and safety guidelines provided by all training venues used. Some personal
insurance policies may not cover our training program venues. Please check with the venue well in
advance of your day. Note that the venues we use usually require compliance to a certain type of

conduct from participants. Please listen and take note if they ask something of you it is usually for
your own safety.
Validity and Extension

Each training program you book is valid for a maximum of four Saturdays consecutively unless
otherwise stated. Once your training program is over from the date you attend, you will be required
to pay in full 1790.00 for another training program with Career Insights should you wish to attend
again. If the customer or recipient is unable to utilize their allocated slots before the expiry date and
does not notify Career Insights in writing at least 3 days before the allocated slots, then the
customer forfeits the slot and will have to repay for the value of that slot less slots already attended.
Once a training program has been booked and a full payment made by the customer, it cannot be
extended. The customer must attend the four allocated slots given to them.
Restrictions
The training programs provided by Career Insights are restricted only to the knowledge gained over
the years as project management professionals. You will not be awarded a certificate for attendance
and Career Insights cannot qualify or provide any related educational qualifications. All professional
qualifications are provided by third party professional bodies and organisations in no way associated
with Career Insights. We are not responsible for you gaining a professional qualification as a project
manager.
Complaints
The easiest way to resolve any problems that you may experience is to speak to the Career Insights
support team by email or telephone at team@careerinsights.tv or 0207 510 9550. They will ensure
that any issues are rectified. If you are still not satisfied please send us the details of your complaint
to: Customer Services, Digital Bananas Technology Curve Serviced Offices, 133 Creek Road,
Greenwich, London SE8 3BN Telephone: 0203 176 2946 Fax: 0845 8382466. Please remember that
the operator will have the opportunity to respond as well. Similarly, we would like to hear any

Cancellations
Once you book a specific date for a training program with Career Insights, you are bound by the
terms and conditions regarding cancellations. Once a date is confirmed with Career Insights, it is not
possible to change this date. Where a date cannot be altered it will not be possible to issue a refund.
In the unlikely event that we cancel a training program, we will notify you and reschedule the
session to the earliest possible date.
Where circumstances dictate, Career Insights (CI) reserves the right to alter programmes,
trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a cancellation or alteration, CI
will endeavour to place candidates in the next available training session as soon as possible.
Non - Attendance
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to
Career Insights up to seven days up to the start of your training, you may forfeit your 300
deposit, except in a compassionate circumstance.
Refunds
You have the right to cancel a training program before an introductory session or a full training
program (weekend intensive / weekly intensive training program). You have 7 days from receipt of
your deposit for a full refund if your payment is made before attending an introductory session.
Payments made after attending an introductory session or if you have already been booked to
attend a full session (weekend intensive / weekly intensive training program) after paying your
deposit or full payment are non-refundable.
Refunds may take up to 28 days to be paid to you from date of receipt provided it is not after your
allocated introductory session. All refunds made after 7 days and within 28 days of receipt will incur
a 22 or 20% administration charge (whichever is greater). Once you or your recipient has booked a

training session with Career Insights you are bound by Digital Bananas Technologys Terms and
Conditions (please make yourself aware of these at the time of booking).
If you have already been booked in to attend a full training session (weekend intensive / weekly
intensive training program) after paying your deposit and you do not attend your allocated slot, you
forfeit your deposit if you do not notify us 72 hours before your allocated slot commences.
All refunds will be made to the person who purchased the training program and the money will be
refunded directly to the credit/debit card. All refunds are processed at month end and take between
5 and 10 working days to show in the purchasers account. To request a refund you MUST email
team@careerinsights.tv, Digital Bananas Technology Limited, 133 Creek road, Greenwich, SE8 3BN,
along with a covering letter detailing the reason for your refund request.
Data Protection
Your privacy is our highest priority We will never disclose your personal details to a third party
under any circumstances.
You consent to us processing DATA relating to you and in particular to the processing of any
sensitive personal data (as defined in the DATA Protection Act 1998).
Leaving
You should give at least one-week notice, if you want to stop volunteering with DBT.

Copyrights
All materials (including videos, documents, templates, tools, software and hard paper copies) related
to Digital Bananas Technology or Career Insights and used to manage projects, train candidates or
for promotional purposes by Digital Bananas Technology or Career Insights remains the property of
Digital Bananas Technology a copyright of Digital Bananas Technology limited. All rights reserved
2015. You are not allowed to use any of these materials without prior written consent from Digital
Bananas Technology limited.

By consenting to be a part of the Career Insights programme and working as a work experience
candidate at Digital Bananas Technology Limited you waive the right to any ownership of all
materials (including videos, documents, templates, tools, software and hard paper copies) used for
training, working on projects or for promotional purposes by Digital Bananas Technology limited or
Career Insights. All materials (including videos, documents, templates, tools, software and hard
paper copies) used for training, working on projects or for promotional purposes remains the
property of Digital Bananas Technology Limited and Career Insights.
Confidentiality
You may have access to working materials, database, software and other confidential
information. It is expected that you do not disclose such to any persons, especially our
competitors.
Supervision
The main point of contact during your time with Career Insights (CI) is the programme office.
On no account should you contact client(s) at any time of a project, unless this has been
approved.
Disclaimer
Career Insights is not a training centre or a college. We do not award certifications or
accredit you to any standard. We only teach you our practical work experience as project
managers, business analysts, project planners or PMO Analysts and allow you to gain
practical work experience working on one of our technology driven projects with our parent
companies Digital Bananas Technology Limited or Tellallmyfriends Limited.
Liability
Career Insights (CI) does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of the
information or views expressed on its training courses including the training materials.

Force Majeure
Career Insights (CI) will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in
performance or delay in performance of, any of its obligations that is caused by events

Section II: Work Experience Agreement

WORK EXPERIENCE AGREEMENT

DBT will facilitate the unpaid work experience of the aforementioned Work Experience Candidate.
After 12 weeks, a review will be carried out. As stated during the Career Insights training session,
you must be able to work from Monday to Friday, but you might be required to work on dedicated
projects during weekends.
If you are unavailable or have any issues or problems with regards to your commitment to a project,
please contact your Project Manager in the first instance. In the event you are unable to get in touch
with your Project Manager, contact the programme office.
What you can expect from us:
To provide necessary induction and training to enable you meet the responsibilities of your
work experience.
To help Digital Bananas Technology Ltd maintain its standard, through communication and
supervision.
To be treated with respect in line with our organizations policies.
Provide personal Mentors who will be available to discuss your progress and other issues
you may have in relation to DBT scope.
To do our best to help you develop.
To try and resolve any problem or grievance fairly in relation to any issue within DBT.
To provide employment reference to future employers, when the need arises, on behalf of
candidates who have worked within DBT.
What we expect from you:

To help Digital Bananas Technology Ltd maintain time commitment and standards, other
than in exceptional circumstance, and provide reasonable notice to help arrange alternative
solutions.
To abide by organizations rules, procedures and standards, including health and safety
procedures as well as equal opportunities policy in relation to staff, volunteers and clients.
To maintain the confidential information of the organization and clients.
You will be granted access to the DBT Information System during your work experience.
Whilst using this system, you must comply with all relevant Security Policy.
Professional Ethics
You will be expected to be professional and a good team player at all times during your work
experience.
Whilst dealing with Clients, you will uphold our professional standards, policies and
procedures.
Confidentiality
You must not, at any time whether during or after the work experience, disclose to a third party, any
confidential information you obtain during your work experience which is not available to the public.
DBT will not disclose your data to third parties in accordance with Data Protection Policy.

Section III: Non Compete Agreement

NON-COMPETE AGREEMENT
This Non-Compete Agreement (the Agreement) is made and effective on the date of signing this
agreement
BETWEEN:
Digital Bananas Technology Limited (the First Party), a corporation organised

and existing under the laws of the England, United Kingdom, with its head office
located at: Curve Serviced Offices, 133 Creek Road, Greenwich, London, SE8 3BN
AND:
The afore-mentioned Work Experience Candidate (the Second Party), whose

training is conducted at the afore mentioned location.
For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the
aforementioned Work Experience Candidate, (the undersigned individual) hereby agrees not to
directly or indirectly compete with the business of Digital Bananas Technology Limited, Career
Insights and its successors.
The Work Experience Candidate acknowledges that the Company may, in reliance of this agreement,
provide the Candidate access to trade secrets, customers and other confidential data and good will.
The Candidate agrees to retain said information as confidential and not to use said information on
his or her own behalf or disclose same to any third party and also agrees to take reasonable security
measures to prevent accidental disclosure.
The Work Experience Candidate shall not own, manage, operate, consult or be employed in a
business substantially similar to, or competitive with, the present business of the Company or such
other business activity in which the Company may substantially engage during the term of
employment.

The agreement shall remain in effect for five (5) years from date of the agreement and shall extend
to United Kingdom
1.
Agreement Not to Compete
While I, [tab_fullname] the Work Experience Candidate, work at Digital Bananas Technology, and for
5 years from the date I become an Alumni and no longer have access to DBT data, I will not directly
or indirectly participate in a business, that is similar to a business now or later operated by DBT. This
includes participating in my own business or as a co-owner, director, officer, consultant,
independent contractor, volunteer or agent of another business.
In particular, I will not:
i)
Solicit or attempt to solicit any business or trade from DBT's actual or prospective customers
or clients
ii) Employ or attempt to employ any Candidate of DBT

iii) Divert or attempt to divert business away from DBT, or
iv) Encourage any independent contractor or consultant to end a relationship with DBT.
2. Right to an Injunction
I acknowledge and agree that if I breach or threaten to breach any of the terms of this agreement,
Digital Bananas Technology will sustain irreparable harm and will be entitled to obtain an injunction
to stop any breach or threatened breach of this agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party to this agreement has caused it to be executed on the date
indicated below.

CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
THIS CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT (the "Agreement") effective on the date of signing this
agreement
BETWEEN:
Digital Bananas Technology Limited (the First Party), a corporation organised

and existing under the laws of the England, United Kingdom, with its head office
located at: Curve Serviced Offices, 133 Creek Road, Greenwich, London, SE8 3BN
AND:
The afore-mentioned Work Experience Candidate (the Second Party), whose

training is conducted at the afore mentioned location.
IT IS AGREED THAT:
1. Digital Bananas Technology may provide confidential information to the work experience
candidates during their time with the company. The provision of this Information does not
constitute or imply the granting of any rights under copyright, patent, trademark or other
intellectual property right.
2. It is a condition that you do not use, divulge or disclose to any persons, firm or organization,
(except as required by your project duties) any confidential commercial or confidential
technical information relating to the business, finances or affairs of the company or its
subsidiaries. This restriction extends after the termination of your work experience for any
reason without time limit but does not apply to information which is or comes into public
domain otherwise than through your unauthorised disclosure.
3. These confidentiality obligations pursuant to this Agreement shall continue for a period of
five (5) years from the date the candidate becomes an Alumni and no longer has access to
DBT data.

4. The interpretation, validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by English
Law and the Parties agree to accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in relation
to this Agreement.
In witness whereof this agreement is entered into by the parties on the date shown above.
The Terms and Conditions, Non-compete agreement and Confidentiality agreement are hereby
signed for and on behalf of:
