Job experience really has a big impact on their job knowledge. Managers must have
effective strategies and powerful tips. He/She needs to motivate his people to bring out the
best in them. He/She lead and manage people to achieve the goals that they set. Managers
can use their ability to plan for the business success.
Managers use their managerial skills to reach its goals. They will make use of their
experiences to accelerate and expand the productivity of his team. Experience can be
manager's toolbox for what he need to achieve. There are three types of managerial skills
technical skills, human skills, and conceptual skills. Human skills is use to work with his
employees. A technical skill it is a skill set helps a manager to accomplish his or her job.
Lastly conceptual skills it is use to think creatively to understand complicated processes.
Most companies required their management staff to have conceptual skills.
Experience is very important at certain phases of manager's careers. Managers
develop their knowledge and skills through experience. Years of experience increased
knowledge, systems skills, problem solving skills and social skills. Systems skills/ systems
thinking uses various techniques to study systems thinking. Skills of problem solving require
analytical, mental and creative skills. Analytical skills is use to evaluate and select the best
alternative that is possible. Managers must use their creativity to create new ideas and
solution to their problem.Social skill is also called socialization it is use to communicate with

others. Uses to interact with each other it include leadership, persuasion, delegation, and
active listening.

II. Background of the Study Marxist Nicole So


The researchers want to study or give attention to manager's years of experience.
They focus on small food businesses around UST. To know the relationship between a
managers skill or knowledge that they get in doing something for a certain period of time in
his managerial skills. To get some information if the skills that they get from their experience
or education will enhance and improve their managerial skills. Does experience help them to
become a better manager? People who have done some good work experience likely to be
more successful. Work experience gives you skills and knowledge that you can use. Having
experience also help you identify your own skills it gives you a good understanding of your
strength and weakness.
