II RATIONALE
San Antonio Elementary School, in cooperation with the GPTA officials and the
Brgy. Council, will spearhead this years INTRAMURALS which will be participated by
the pupils of the said school. The project aims to revive the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The objectives of this event are the following:
-

Inculcate sense of fairness and square in terms of sports.

Develop pupils ability in sports and enhance their physical strength.
Strengthen unity and camaraderie between and among the pupils including
the faculty staff and the community.

The said project will serve for the pupils an avenue to perform better
especially in relation to sports. It will be the competition among them where each
of them will be assigned to join their specific teams blue, red, yellow and green.
They will be competing in the different events such as follows:

100m dash
200m dash
Running long jump
High jump
Shot put
Chess
Badminton (Individual)
Badminton (Double)
Volleyball
Discuss throw
Basketball
Javelin Throw

Only the intermediate pupils will participate the events listed above. Since
each team has primary pupils, they will not be deprived by this project. They will
have separate events to play which are follows:

Lemon Relay
Sack Race
Agawan ng Panyo

The said school will also spearhead this years 2016 SEARCH FOR MR. AND
MS. INTRAMURALS which will be participated by the representative / muse and escort
of each team. The event aims to develop pupils self-esteem. The objectives of this
event are the following:
1. Revive the true spirit of sportsmanship
2. Strengthen pupils self-confidence
They will be competing in the different events such as follows:
Q&A Portion
Sportswear competition
Ethnic Attire
Talent Competition
Long gown Competition
To determine the champion and the runner ups, the school will use the pointing
system.

1. To revive the true spirit of sportsmanship.

4. To develop cooperation, initiative and leadership among the pupils.
5. To expose the pupils in Socio Civic Activities.
