Electronic devices, including cellular phones, smartphones, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) digital and
smartwatches, etc.;
Books, dictionaries, notes, or review materials of any kind, including the NMAT Practice Set;
Recording or photographic devices;
Listening devices and media players
Prohibited Behaviors
Impersonating an examinee or having someone else to take the test for you;
Presenting false, altered, or tampered identification to gain admission to the testing room;
Disruptive or abusive behavior, talking in the testing room with anyone other than the Examiner and/or
Proctor, or talking about or discussing the test during lunch break;
Tearing or ripping scratch paper, attempting to remove scratch paper from the testing room;
Attempting by any means to duplicate, record, or memorize test content, answer documents, or any other
test materials;
Failing to follow the Examiner's instructions after being warned;
Destruction of test site property;
Verbally or physically harassing or threatening any NMAT staff;
Violating test site regulations or procedures;
Being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs;
Soliciting, discussing, or disclosing test content, or otherwise violating the terms of the Examinee Agreement;
Providing false or misleading information about their NMAT test, score or testing history to any institution;
and
Cheating that is depicted by, but NOT limited to, the following:
Giving and/or receiving assistance;
Copying the work of another examinee by any means;
Using any prohibited item;
Working after the time has been called; and
Possessing an illegally obtained NMAT booklet.
Possession of any prohibited item or exhibition of any prohibited behavior shall be considered an intentional and willful
breach of NMAT security policies. You will be dismissed from the testing room. Your answer sheet will NOT be
processed and your NMAT fees will be totally forfeited. You will also be disqualified to take another NMAT
