Grand Knights Message:

Brothers: Our Pancake Breakfast to raise funds for Madonna Catholic Regional School and our BBQ during the Fall Fleatique on the Mon were both successful endeavors. Thanks to all who made those events possible. We need your help at the
upcoming Tootsie Roll Drive on October 14th. The Columbiettes are having a First Degree and Installation of Officers on
Sunday, October 16th and a Penny Bingo on Sunday October 23rd both in FLH/Madonna Cafeteria. Spread the word. We
will be selling Religious Christmas Cards soon and distributing Christmas Seals for the Bishops Project. Anyone interested in being involved in any or all of these call me or see me at a meeting.

This years Columbus Day Dinner

will take place on Sunday, October
9th at the Doubletree Hotel in the
Meadowlands.
Our Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday,
October 11th at 7:30 p.m. at Fr. Abbate Hall, St.
Damien of Molokai Parish.
We will be holding our Annual Tootsie Roll
Drive on Friday, October 14th - Proceeds benefit the Bishop of Pittsburgh Project for Children
with Disabilities - YOUR help is needed.
Bishops Project: K of C Christmas Seals will be
available for pick up on October 14th from noon
to 7 pm at Holy Spirit Parish in West Mifflin.

St. Damiens Knights, and Columbiettes, our local Lions Club and the MCRS Leo Club
sponsored a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, September 18th benefitting Madonna
Catholic Regional School, Thanks to all who helped and supported Catholic Education.

The Mon Valley Chapter Meeting will be held on
Tuesday, October 25th at Charleroi Council Hall.
Refreshments will be served at 7:15 p.m.; Meeting at 8:00 p.m.
The Bishop Phelan Fourth Degree Assembly
Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 27th
at Our Lady of the Valley, Donora.
Rosary at 7:00 p.m./Meeting at 7:30 p.m.
The St. Damiens Holy Name Society, Catholic
Mens Fellowship, Knights, Columbiettes and
Ladies of Charity, are sponsoring a Patriotic
Rosary on Thursday, October 27th at 6:30 p.m. in
St. Damiens Church. The Patriotic Rosary, inspired by Our Lady of Medjugorje, is a powerful
prayer offered for divine protection and mercy for
our nation. Please join us as one voice in asking
Our Blessed Mother to intercede for our country
during the critical times that lie ahead. One hour
for ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

On Thursday, September 29th GK Chuck Brooks and SK Andy Rudy presented

MCRS Principal Don Militzer and MCRS Leo Club officers and sponsors with a
check for the Pancake Breakfast Proceeds. Great job serving Leo Club!
