High Reliability
S400 adopts the natural heat dissipation mode, with heat-dissipation holes drilled on the shell.
S500 adopts the active heat dissipation mode, with the heatdissipation fan installed inside, forcedly implementing heat dissipation for the MU board. A temperature sensor is also installed inside. When the temperature of MU exceeds the critical value, the system gives the corresponding alarm.
MTBF is not smaller than 200000 hours, and the product's service life is over 15 years.
Easy Installation
IDU can be installed in:
Cabinet
Open rack
Desktop
ODU supports:
Integrated installation
Separate installation
Easy Maintenance
Support various types of loopback for service ports and Intermediate Frequency (IF) ports.
With the built-in testing system, user can perform the PseudoRandom Binary Sequence (PRBS) test for E1 port without specific testing tool.
Support monitoring of important radio transmission performance indices such as the microwave transmission power and
Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI).
Easy Management
All ZXMW PR10 network elements are managed through NetNumen R31.
When S400 IDU is used, user can add the ETH TU subcard to
expand the Ethernet service interface.
When S500 IDU is used, user can add MU and ODU to achieve
an upgrade from the no-protection configuration to the 1+1
protection configuration, or add new microwave links.
The system supports adjustment through software in the following aspects: transmission capacity, modulation/demodulation mode, transmission frequency, and transmission power.

The following items should be noticed in connecting layer-2 equipment and layer-3 equipment.
1. A layer-2 equipment and a layer-3 equipment can only be connected through Q interface.
2. The IP addresses of Q interface of the two IDUs of the onehop layer-3 equipment must be configured in different network
segments.
3. The IP address of Q interface of layer-2 equipment interconnected with layer-3 equipment must be configured in the same
network segment as that of the layer-3 equipment.
4. The layer-2 equipment should be configured with the default
gateway.
