your goals for your
future?

I plan to get my BA in psychology at UC Merced and then


transfer to CSU Stanislaus to get my MA in psychology. After
having a graduate degree in psychology I will need to complete
two years of supervised internship while getting a state license
and becoming board certified. When I complete all this after 13
years of school after high school, I will be a child psychologist.

Site 1 Child Psychologist - Diagnose and treat mental disorders;


learning disabilities; and cognitive, behavioral, and emotional
problems, using individual, child, family, and group therapies.
May design and implement behavior modification programs. They
usually will work 5 days a week depending on how many people
they are treating.

Pros: You get to help people with behavioral problems they have
and the pay for it is overall very good.

Cons: Its a lot of school, an overall of 13 years of school after my


high school diploma since I need my doctorate.
