The Centre of Foundation (CFS) of Universiti Tunku Abdul

Rahman (UTAR) is planning to organize a Chinese New Year

celebration for students and staffs. Nonetheless, the centre is lacks
of fund to organize this major event. Therefore, the centre has
decided to have a 2-day flea market in order to raise fund. The flea
market will held in the UTAR Kampar campus on 1 January 2016
from 8am to 4pm.
As a part of an official club in the university, the Interact club
has decided to form an ad-hoc committee to involved in this flea
market to give support for the centre to organise the future major
event. The CFS hopes that each club will be able to contribute its
effort and income to the centre to get the sufficient fund for the
major event through the participation in the flea market. Thus, an
event committee named Joker is formed to set up a stall which is
Sakura stall during the flea market and sell premium coffee, popcorn
and Hokkaido cupcake which enable the club to earn the fund for
the centre.
The profit earned by the Poffee Homestyle stall will be wholly
transferred to the centre as a fund for them to organise the
Deepavali celebration event. As a consequent, the CFS will gain
benefit from this course of action. The centre will manage to obtain
the fund from the income gained in the flea market. Also, the
students in UTAR Kampar campus will be able to get benefit from
this event as they get to obtain different products and services in
the flea market.
