2. Q & R TRADER LTD as Employer,
Art.1.The employee has accepted to work on the Employers vessel M/V ARWA (See Art. 8)
in the capacity of FITTER
Art.2. the Seafarer agrees to serve on board for 9 1 month at Owners option.
a) The employment shall be deemed to commence from signing on board and continued until
Seafarer sign off the vessel.
b) The transportation cost (Airline tickets only) to and from the vessel will be bared by the Owner.
c) Any Seafarer wishing to extend his service period after the expiry date of the existing contract
may do so subject to mutual approval of the Owner and the Seafarer.
d) A Seafarer who wishes to terminate his service on board a vessel prior to expiration of this
contract must give notice to this effect to the master at least 30 days in advance, Traveling
expenses ( including joining ticket + repatriation ticket) as well as the other taxes and charges
related to the repatriation will be n Seafarers account.
e) The Employer will pay repatriation in case of death wife or child of seaman.
f) All Seafarers newly hired under this agreement will undergo two months trial period. If he is
found to be unsuitable for the position to which he was appointed, he may be discharged and his
contract terminated. The Employer will pay only the salary of the actual period served on board,
but all repatriation costs ( including joining ticket + repatriation ticket) will be on the Seafarers
account.
g) Employer is not responsible for any amounts of money Seafarer pay to any crewing agency or any
third party, also Employer is not responsible for any agreement done with any crewing agency
and ant third party.
Art.3. The working time is as per Master instruction.
The wages will be 450 USD in words (FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY USD ONLY) per month including
overtime/Saturday, Sunday).
a) Any other remuneration by way of entitlement to allowances, extra overtime and benefits will be
as the Employer ESTIMATION ONLY.
b) The Owner will provide to the Seafarer all necessary means of living and working on board,
including accommodation, food at suitable standards.
c) The wages will be paid for each month 15th of the next month.
Art.4. The Seafarer undertakes and agrees the following:
a) To show due respect for Arabic Countries, their Flags and its Customs and Religion.
b) To execute the duties required of him in the rank to which he has been appointed in an efficient, honest
and diligent manner.
c) Before joining the Employers vessel each Seafarer must perform a medical visit.
d) To execute all lawful commands issued at him scrupulously and honestly.
