INTRODUCCION
La presente gua didctica tiene como objetivo acompaar al estudiante de modalidad a distancia con el
uso del texto TOUCHSTONE.
Cada nivel cuenta con seis unidades de cuatro lecciones que permitirn el desarrollo de las cuatro
destrezas del idioma: leer, escribir, hablar y escuchar.
En cada parcial se desarrollarn tres unidades. Cada unidad cuenta con los objetivos de la unidad y
cuatro lecciones A, B, C, D. Dentro de cada leccin se encontrarn temas numerados (1. Getting started,
2. Building 3.Vocabulary, etc).
A continuacin se explica de manera detallada el proceso en el que debern realizarse las actividades
dentro de cada leccin.
La gua le indicar cuando usted deber trabajar con el cd de audio de la siguiente manera:
1. Getting started
Escuche los mensajes de Anita. (CD, Unit 7 pista 23). De acuerdo al ejemplo usted deber escuchar la
pista numerada.

Se utiliza para explicar la razn, el propsito de realizar una actividad, es decir, una justificacin, el
motivo por el que se hace algo.
Se presenta el uso de adjetivos al inicio de la oracin y el motivo por el que se opina de tal o cual
manera.
A: Imagine que usted est planeando un viaje a un a pas extranjero. Haga oraciones sobre las cosas

A: Escuche (CD Unit 7,pista 26, pg 69). Jenny ir de vacaciones en un campamento. Cul es el consejo
de su madre? Practique la conversacin.
Hay varias maneras de dar consejos o hacer sugerencias. Los verbos modales son
ideales para este tema. Cada modal ir acompaado de un verbo en la forma simple o base.
Cuando utilice los pronombres he/ she / it debe colocar el verbo modal should /could / needs
to seguido de un verbo en la forma base sin conjugar el verbo, es decir, sin aadir las
terminaciones s, es, ies.

Adems, puede ir junto a un sustantivo singular o plural.
WHOSE + noun + verb to be + pronoun?
Para responder a este tipo de preguntas, puede hacerlo de la siguiente manera, como se ve en el
recuadro de la gramtica pg77.

Los adjetivos califican al sustantivo por lo que se debe utilizar primero cualquier adjetivo

El Pasado Continuo, es un tiempo que describe acciones que estaban siendo realizadas en
un momento del pasado al que se hace referencia y que luego continuaron.

Tambin se puede utilizar este tiempo para relatar dos acciones que sucedieron en el pasado y que
una de ellas ya se ha completado. Para ello utilizamos el Pasado Simple para mencionar lo que ya
finaliz y el Pasado Continuo para relatar lo que sigue ejecutndose.

Pronombres reflexivos
Los pronombres reflexivos se usan cuando el sujeto y objeto del verbo se refieren a la misma
persona. Adems, se utilizan para enfatizar el sentido de la frase, es decir, para realzar al sujeto que
realiza la accin por "si mismo".
