CROWD CONTROLLING

Proper planning should be done by the committee regarding


the roles and responsibilities of every individual who is
participating in the crowd control activity
A communication plan should be very well prepared so as to
relay necessary information to the other events organizers
for smooth progress of events such as wireless radios.
A proper vehicle staging plan should be prepared and
efficiently put into use so as to reduce the possibility of road
jams during the events
A minimum of two help desks should be setup in 200m
radius which efficiently helps participants to find their event
destination and path to it
Proper Site map should be prepared & available which shows
Rest area / Places
Information kiosks
Places of interest at the venue/event
Meeting points / Media Center
Entry and exit points at event venue
Water Outlets
First aid services
Emergency exits
Food outlets / courts
Toilets
Phone booth
There should be multiple entrances to avoid queuing with
proper committee students so to facilitate the entry at
people at mass events involving a greater chance of
disturbance.
The entertainment media should promote special features,
programs, and public service announcements relating to
crowd safety and individual and group responsibilities
There should be a special group taking care of women safety
while the events is going on.
There should proper construction of barricades and pathways
so as to promote the safety of both the celebrities and the
people attending the event.

CROWD CONTROLLING
There committee persons should be properly positioned
during closed Auditorium events where they can negate any
chance of nuisance caused by vagabonds.
The major Functional Annexures should be thorough followed
and circulated to all the members of the event such as :Traffic Management Plan.
Medical Plan (in consultation with relevant Health Authority)
Event Communications (including Wireless radio frequency
channels to be used by event staff in schematic format)plan.
Emergency procedures (the publication of these procedures
should be restricted to event staff and the statutory
agencies) for stopping the event Action in the event of Fire.
Action in the event of any other emergency incident
(Including Natural and human made disaster.
Evacuation of the venue and shelter management.
There should be proper coordination between different
committees for smooth organization of event
The man power allocation should be diligently applied so as
to observe minimum time delays in all events.
An emergency helpline number should be provided to every
one for any important issue which is not addressed by the
committee.
