The Iraq Veterans for Congress (IVC) is a

In 2010,the IVC is, in essence,conductinga surge

The IVC got its start during Marine Corps veteran Kieran Lalor's 2008 fuht
to take back New York's19th congressionaldistrict. Kieran defled the odds
and the political establishment to earn the nomination of the Republican
Party. Although his race was unsuccessful,in that year - a far less favorable
one for Republicansthan 2010 is sure to be - Kieran'snation-wide band Of
brothers helped thjrteen candidates win their primaries and two Marine
Corps candidateswin elective offlce: CongressmanDuncan D. Hunter (CA-
52) and CongressmanMike Coffman(CO-06).
