Chipper/Loader Filed / grind / reamed ends of freshly milled industrial pipe of
various diameters and gauges for couplings to be welded on. Leak tested and painted
welded spiral seamed pipe. Upon inspection by Plant Superintendent, flagged overhead
cranes for rigging finished pipes and loading them on flat bed trucks for shipping.

Replacement of industrial valves and flanges. Used metal plates to
blind / isolate pipelines for hydro blasting and steaming out residue
product.

Aug. 2008-Jan. 2009 Construction on number eleven pipe


still during an important shutdown. Replaced control & pressure relief
valves, ran above pipe still anaconda hoses joining several air manifold
tanks to four industrial air compressors for various air tools used during
project. Set up full length flanged piping for chemical and steam flushing
of vessels and other major components. Changed piping configuration of
four re-boiler vessels to their condensate pots (tanks). Installed steam trace
tubing for winterization. Fresh air trained to make repairs where H2S / SO
gases could be present. Ariel lift trained to make repairs and installations
high up.

JOLIET POWER HOUSE


Joliet, Illinois

Mar. 2006 One day job servicing voltage generator off line. Upgraded
ignition system on coal burner. Re-bolted and re-sealed turbine steamer,
lubricated turbine bearings, and cleaned out condensate traps.

US STEEL MILLS

Apr.-May 2006 Maintenance and repair of blast furnaces


included overhauling hydraulic drive shaft, replace steam valves, piping,
hoses, and valves to water cooling vessels. Installed cat tracks for conduit
and tubing runs, built valve driven doors, and replaced ignition
assemblies.

work safely.

FORD STAMPING PLANT

three week project reconfiguring an
automobile assembly cell. Organized blue print strategy for changes in
routing copper tubing, hydraulic hoses, and piping from plant air.
Directed proper connection of accessories to robotic assembly arms.

Feb. 2010 Assigned to work inside plant’s


protected and vital areas.
Replaced compression hoses inside reactor building. Replaced caps,
nozzles, and plugs on sprinkling system to a large transformer using ladder
and Ariel lift to reach components.
