Alternativi International and our EVS volunteers are
iInviting your organization to become part of EVS 4 ALL
Youth Caravan, financed by Erasmus+ Program. The
main idea of the initiative is promoting EVS on a national
level through various events in different parts of
Bulgaria.
We appreciate your feedback and we will be happy to
cooperate with you!

1. EVS 4 All project

he project 4 ALL II is a continuation of to the successful first part and will include 16
volunteers in 4 periods of 2 months each as well as 2 volunteers for a long-term
period of 8 months. The project will involve young people aged between 18 and 30
years old from the Czech Republic, Armenia, Georgia,Azerbaijan, Spain, Portugal,
Moldova, Macedonia, Croatia and France. The actual project activities of the will start
in October 2015, when we will host the first group of four volunteers from different
states for two months, and two long-term volunteers from Georgia and Spain. The
overall objective of the project is to make volunteering more accessible, attractive
and popular for young people. Another focus of the project is organization of leisure
activities for local youth trough youth clubs- dance, cooking, cultural classes,
language school, etc. Another key priority of the proposal is to foster intercultural
dialogue understanding and tolerance between young people from different countries
and social and economic status trough volunteering. The project will offer young
people an alternative for spending their leisure time, while promoting the
development of their skills and their civic activity by the methods of nonformal
education. The expected results of the project are: increased interest and awareness
of Erasmus +, and EVS in particular; increasing the number of young people
participating in EVS; improving language skills of local youth; increasing sense of
tolerance and solidarity to other cultures; awareness of the values of volunteering.

Youth Caravan
The idea of the Youth Caravan is to promote EVS on a national level trough
meetings, public actions, school events, presentations and workshops with local
youngsters from different cities. The caravan will start from Blagoevgrad and will
pass through several cities across Bulgaria with the main aim to of makinge EVS

more visible and accessible. Our intention is to involve our EVS volunteers as well
as the EVS volunteers ofIn the cities we will pass go through. We believe we
can achieve a wider impact if we work in a team, so we would need your
cooperation! We will provide all the materials and resources for the events but
we need a host who is actively working with the youth in theat each cityies we
will pass trough in order toso we can reach them easily.
The events are subject towill be adapteddiscussion depending on to the
resources and capacity of the organization but could be:
-workshop in a local school
-discussion / roundtable in a conference room / youth center
-public campaign / flashmob / , street action / at the city center
-human library on the topic of volunteering
-combination of some of the above mentioned

Target group:
-high school students
-university students
-local community

What would be your role?

-to arrange a meeting space for the event
-to provide media support if possible
-to invite the local community to take part in the event
-to distribute information trough media and social networks for the event
-to ensure logistical support related to the event management

*Please know that we would like to implement one public event
(outdoor in city center / inform of youth house or other place) in which
we will set up a tTent withas an info point and distribute materials
about EVS and opportunities for young people abroad. Also that will be
an opportunity for your organization as well as for ours to present our
activities to the local community.
Along with that we would like to have presentation / discussion /
workshop in local school / university / youth center / youth organization
office in which we will talk more about EVS.
