Bennet Beardsley Know all men by these presents that We Bennett Beardsley and Mary
To Beardsley wife of said Bennett of Oakland county Michigan Territory in
Calvin C. Parks consideration of one Thousand Dollars to us paid by Calvin C. Parks of
the same place the receipt where of we do hereby acknowledge do by these presents give grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Calvin C Parks his heirs and assigns a certain parcel of Land situate in said
county and Territory bounded and Described as follows, to wit, Being a part of the Southwest quarter
of Section Twenty five Township three north of Range Ten East. Beginning at South East corner
of Land owned by Benjamin Phelps. Running South one degree and fifty minutes West Thirty
chains and thirty Two links thense North [?], seventy nine degrees and fifteen minutes East five
chains and one link. Thence South one degree and fifty minutes East twenty Seven chains and
S[eventy?] five links. thence South Seventy one degrees and Twenty minutes Three chains and
twenty five links Thence South two degrees and Twenty nine minutes East one chain and fifty
links. Thence South forty Two Degrees and Twenty minutes West one chain and seventy three
links to the place of beginning containing fourteen and forty two hundredths acres of Land.
Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the said Land in anywise appertaining and
belonging. To have and to hold the above granted premises to the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and
assigns to his and their use and behoof forever and we the said Beardsley and wife for our selves our
heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said Calvin C. Parks his heirs and assigns that
we are Lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises that they are free from all incumbrances that
we have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Calvin C. Parks as aforesaid. and that we will
And our heirs executors administrators shall Warrant and Defend the same to the said Calvin C. Parks his
heirs and assigns forever against the Lawful demands of all persons

In Testimony whereof We have hereunto set our hands and seals this Eighteenth day of December in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five Signed sealed and delivered in

Be it remembered that on the Eighteenth day of D[ecem]ber in the year one thousand Eight hundred and
thirty five came before me one of the Justices of the Peace for the county aforesaid the within n[amed]
Bennett Beardsley and Mary his wife known [by] me to be the persons described in and who have
[executed] the within Deed and acknowledges that [they] severally signed sealed and delivered the said
deed for the use and purposes therein mentioned [and] the said Mary Being by me privately examined
apart from her said husband acknowledged that she Executed the said Deed freely without any fear or
compulsion of her said husband all which I certify according to Law
