Investigation & Meet - Rules and

Terms
If you do not agree to any of the below rules or terms then you unfortunately cannot
attend an investigation or meeting.

Rules
On investigations and meets you will be expected to conduct yourself in a
professional manner and follow these rules,
No drinking alcohol before an investigation (ok to drink on social meets)
No drugs
No perfumes, colognes or other fragrances should be worn during an investigation, as
this can interfere with other investigators senses.
During an investigation, members will respect the property of our host/client. It is
each individuals responsibility to replace or repair any item they damage on an
investigation.
During an investigation, there will be no smoking inside the location, no horseplay and
no profanity. Voices should be kept at a conversational level. If you must smoke,
please return to your car or a designated area to do so.
Members who are absent from pre-investigation briefings will not be permitted to
participate in that investigation.
E.N.Y.P.I members shall keep all client information and locations confidential, unless
the client has signed a release form. No exceptions.
No E.N.Y.P.I member shall contact any media source concerning an investigation,
client information, event or group information unless it is approved by the founding
members of the group and all involved members. This is done to protect the rights,
privacy and reputation of E.N.Y.P.I and its clients.
All members are required to help do field research and generate leads for
investigations.
Each member will be required to follow pre-investigation, investigation, and postinvestigation procedures.
All evidence collected as a result of E.N.Y.P.I investigations becomes property of the
group. Any former member that requests the use of any evidence collected during
their membership period must first obtain permission from the group.
East Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators conducts investigations only. At no time
shall any member of the team attempt to remove entities from a location, or make
any claim that the team will attempt to do so.

No one under the age of 17 years old (proof of age


may be requested) on investigations.
No one under the age of 16 years of age (proof of age may be requested) should be
accepted into the organisation.
Do not bring people with you that do not have consent to attend the investigation,
they will be asked to leave.
On investigations do not wonder off by yourself, Follow the plan for that nights
investigation only.
If you need to go to the toilet go in pairs, do not go by yourself.
Everyone is required to bring a torch for health and safety (some torches may be
provided).
Please respect each others race and beliefs.
No one who is pregnant or believes that they are pregnant will be unable to attend
one of our Paranormal Events however people who are pregnant or believe that they
are will still be able to attend meetings.
If you break any of the equipment you will be required to replace it at the cost we paid
for the piece of equipment. If you refuse to replace it you could be issued with a
written warning or/and suspended from the group for up to 3 months.
Any member who confirms that they will be attending an event or meeting and then
cant attend will be required to fill out an absence request form to inform the Lead
Investigator that you wont be attending.
If you do not follow any of the above you will be asked to leave.
If you break any of the rules you will be subject to the following.....
First Offence: First Warning (Verbal)
Second Offence: First Warning (Written)
Third Offence: Second Warning (Written) & Banned From Investigations
for 2 Months
Fourth Offence: Third Warning (Written) & Banned From Investigations
for 4 Months
If it continues to a Fourth or Fifth Offence you will be suspended from
the group from 5 months to Life depending on the severity of your
offence.
All offences will be dealt with through a warning notice form and this will stay in
your members record.

Forums

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar,


slanderous, hateful, racist, threatening or sexually-orientated material, Doing so may
lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your
Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts is
recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that East & North Yorkshire
Paranormal Investigators have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic,
picture or video at any time should we see fit.
Also please do not post adverts and irrelevant links as they will be removed for safety
(EXCEPT LINKS POSTED BY ADMINS),

Terms
By joining the Groups forum or by coming on any investigations or meets you
automatically agree to ALL our rules and terms.
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators is not liable for loss or damage to any
items you bring to an investigation or meet,
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators is not liable for any injuries you may
get during the investigation or meet.
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators are not liable for any damage done at
a location; if you break something at a location you replace it.
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators records all of our events. By booking
to attend one of our investigations you automatically agree to being filmed and also
give consent for your image(s) and/or voice-recording being used on our website,
YouTube, Facebook page or anywhere we see fit.
Due to some of the scientific experiments we do, some may require a consent form to
take place. East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators therefor will not take any
responsibility for any consequences from any consequences that due to the
experiment that you consent to. An example of an experiment that requires a consent
form is Ouija Board.
On some investigations you may require Paracetamol, Ibuprofen or Aspirin. With this
in mind we ask that you fill out a Medicines Consent Form and an Event
Medical/Consent Form. If you do not fill out these forms East & North Yorkshire
Paranormal Instigators will not accept responsibility to any mistakes we make due to a
treatment we give you. We will also not accept responsibility to any treatment we give
you if you are advised to see a healthcare professional and you dont and your
condition deteriorates.
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators conducts investigations only. At no
time shall any member of the team attempt to remove entities from a location, or
make any claim that the team will attempt to do so.

Payment Terms
East & North Yorkshire Paranormal Investigators reserve the right to cancel any
investigation or meet at any time. Some Investigations may require you to pay a bit
towards them; if this is the case you will be able to do so through the E.N.Y.P.I Website.
You will be able to pay a Non-Refundable Deposit toward your ticket for the event to
book a place. If you pay the full amount for a charged event and you are unable to
attend you must give 72 hours notice and the difference between the full price and
the deposit will be refunded.
Please note... You will not get a refund if you do not turn up or cancel at the last
minute.
All tickets are individual to the person and cannot be used more than once. ALSO... If
you turn up to an investigation and have not paid or do not have the money to do so
you will be asked to leave.
Remember please follow instructions given to you by the investigators in charge and
above all have fun!

First Aid
The Groups First Aiders Are:

Vicky Craworth (7398) Second First Aider [E.N.Y.P.I Trained]
Their certificates are valid for 3 years from 05/08/15 [Exp. 05/08/17]
Janine Auty (1499) First Aider [E.N.Y.P.I Trained]
Her certificate is valid for 3 years from 0510/05/16 [Exp. 10/06/19]

The Groups Appointed Persons Are:


Tammie Baker (2466) Appointed Person [E.N.Y.P.I Trained]
Their certificates are valid for 3 years from 05/08/15 [Exp. 05/08/17]

If you have any problems while on investigations that require first aid please report to
one of them immediately

Fire Plan/Fire Marshals


The Groups Fire Marshals Are:

In the event of a fire you are required to sound the alarm (this could be through Radio
Communications*, through activating an alarm or by shouting it through the building)
then you need to dial 999 (only if a Fire Marshal hasnt but this should be left to a Fire
Marshal if on is available). Before dialling 999, you need to evacuate the building by
the nearest available exit. Then attend the designated fire assembly point and tell the
Fire Marshal that you are there. Do not stop to collect personal belonging or the
groups equipment and do not use lifts.
*Only If you Are Radios Communications Trained.

Please Note E.N.Y.P.I Reserve the Rights to change These Terms and Rules at Any Point
without Notification of Doing So.
