MONTHLY FOCUS TOPIC


This month our focus topic will be Scientific
Inquiry. This month we will explore scientific
inquiry, placing a special emphasis on using
the five senses. Students will learn about the
five senses and how they can be used to
observe and learn about the natural
environment. They will also learn about
scientist, what they do, and how they use the
scientific method. Throughout the unit,
students will participate in a variety of
scientific investigations.

WAYS TO HELP YOUR


STUDENT
Review high-frequency words at home, have your
student write about their day, practice telling
time for key events (dinner, bed, practice, etc.)
