Figure 1. Relationship between Height in cm (y-axis) and Weight in kg (x) :

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: The Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-value) of 0.47 confirms what was apparent
from the graph; there appears to be a weak positive correlation between the two variables.
Conclusion: Means that the average value of the weight contributes only slightly (only
occasionally) in response to the increase in the height of the students.

Figure 2. Relationship between the Weight (x) and Body Mass Index (y)

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: The significant Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.84 confirms what was
apparent from the graph; there appears to be a strong positive correlation between the two
variables. Thus large values of BMI are associated with large weight values.
If the outliers were to be removed, a data set with a high level of association will be obtained. As
it is, the outliers have a significant effect on the level of association.
Conclusion: Weight highly contributes to the increase in the BMI of students

Figure 3. Relationship between Weight (x) and Waist Circumference (y)

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: As what was apparent to the graph, some points are close to the line but other points
are far from it. The Pearson coefficient of 0.76 indicates only a moderate linear relationship
between the variables.
Conclusion: Changes in waist circumference somewhat increases the value of the weight.

Figure 4. Relationship between the Weight and Systolic Blood Pressure

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: The Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.49 indicates a weak positive correlation
between the two variables.
Conclusion: The weight of a person somehow affects his or her systolic blood pressure.

Figure 5. Relationship between the Weight (x) and Diastolic Blood Pressure (y)

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: The Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0,50 indicates a moderate positive
correlation between the two variables.
Conclusion: This graph implies that there is a relative association between weight and diastolic
blood pressure.

Figure 6. Relationship between the Waist circumference (x) and Systolic (y)

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.70)
Analysis: The Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.46 indicates a weak positive correlation
between the two variables.
Conclusion: Based on Pearson correlation coefficient, the waist circumference slightly affects a
persons systolic blood pressure.

Figure 7. Relationship between the Height (x) and Waist size (y)

Pearson correlation coefficient value (r-vallue):

- No correlation (0-0.29)
- Weak positive correlation (0.30-0.49)
- Moderate positive correlation (0,50-0.69)
- Strong positive correlation (>0.7)
Analysis: The Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.15 indicates no correlation between the
two variables.
Conclusion: The height is not related to the waist circumference of a person.
