DEEMED EXPORTS
Dee ed Exports refer to those transactions in which goods supplied
do not leave country, and payment for such supplies is received either
in Indian rupees or in free foreign exchange.
Supply of goods as specified in the Trade Policy shall be regarded as
Dee ed Exports provided goods are manufactured in India.
Examples:
Supply of goods to EOU / STP / EHTP / BTP
Supply of goods to projects financed by multilateral or bilateral
Agencies

Authorisation shall be valid for import for 18 months from the date of
issue of Authorisation. Revalidation of EPCG Authorisation shall not
be permitted.
Second hand capital goods shall not be permitted to be imported
under EPCG Scheme.
Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme also covers a service
provider who is designated / certified as a Common Service Provider
(CSP) by the DGFT, Department of Commerce or State Industrial
Infrastructural Corporation in a Town of Export Excellence
Import of capital goods shall be subject to Actual User condition till
export obligation is completed.
EXPORT OF SAMPLES
Exports of Samples / Exhibits
Exports of bonafide trade and technical samples of freely exportable
item shall be allowed without any limit.
An application for export of samples/exhibits, which are restricted for
export, may be made to DGFT
EXPORT OF GIFTS
IMPORT OF SAMPLES
No Authorisation shall be required for Import of bonafide technical
and trade samples of items restricted in ITC (HS) except vegetable
seeds, bees and new drugs. Samples of tea not exceeding
Rs.2000 (CIF) in one consignment shall be allowed without an
Authorisation by any person connected with Tea industry.
