Safety Conclave
Safety is one of the main concerns of our society. Clearly there
is a large gap among the infrastructure for safety measures, the
initiatives and the reality.
To sensitize and motivate our society more on different aspects
of safety, we are going to arrange an International Conference
on Safety. The interdisciplinary conference is expected to bring
researchers, educators, safety officials, engineers, safety
advocates, policy makers and consultants together to explore
solutions to pressing safety challenges in India from a global
perspective.

CONCLAVE

Automobile Conclave
The automotive industry in India is one of the largest in the
world and one of the fastest growing globally. In the Last few
years, Gujarat has emerged as the Auto hub of India, with the
industry all set to take off as key driver of growth. With the
coming of heavyweights like Tata Nano, Maruti Suzuki Ltd.,
Bombardier, Peugeot, Hyundai Heavy Industry, Bosch
Rexroth India and General Motors and setting up their
manufacturing plants here.
The Conclave on Automobiles aims towards bringing

The theme of Amalthea 11 was infrastructure with all 3
verticals, Conclave, Exhibition and Events, receiving
impressive response. The Summit was inaugurated by Shri
Narendra Modi with an inspiring opening speech. What
followed in the next two days left the audience spellbound
with elaborate presentations of revolutionary projects such

as the One Laptop Per Child Project, Bandra-Worli Sea

Link, T- 3 terminal at IGI Airport, New Delhi, etc. being
conducted by respective firms. The 2 day event was

The

panel

consisted

of

leading

industrialists, esteemed academia and top government

officials. The discussion was hosted by Ms. Elan Dutta,
senior correspondent, CNBC TV-18.
While the conclave was more about presentations and
lectures, Exhibition gave all the participants a first-hand
experience of the various technologies being implemented
around us. Companies belonging to a wide spectrum of
fields participated in the exhibition and our main
exhibitors were iNDEXTb, L&T , Ricoh Innovations ,
DRDO etc.
Apart from Conclave and Exhibition, the diverse events,
ranging from making a bot for a specific task to making a
portable water purifier gave the participants hands-on
experience on approaching a problem in a practical way,
using the knowledge and the concepts they already know.
