Aims and objectives
Fire is a potential hazard in any workplace. At the Priory Group of Companies, we use a range of fire
safety systems and procedures to protect our premises and all the people in them. But, above all, we
rely on the awareness and vigilance of all employees for maintaining fire safety at our services.This
module will show you what you need do, and complements the ongoing fire training and briefings
that will be provided by your local service.
When you have completed this module you will:
Recognise the conditions needed for a fire to start
Be vigilant for fire risks in your working environment and able to minimise them
Recognise the fire safety systems and equipment we use at Priory
Respond appropriately in the event of fire.
