DISTRICT
The Lima City Schools is the largest public school system in Allen County and the region, serving a diverse population of about
4,000 students offering preschool through 12th-grade education. Since 1856, the district has been dedicated to its mission to
create a climate in which every student learns.
The Lima City Schools is made up of four elementary schools, a fifth and sixth-grade building, a
seventh and eighth-grade building and two kindergarten through eighth-grade magnet schools, one
covering the arts and the other science and technology.
Our athletes compete in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC), a 10-school conference.
We are the home of the Spartans and We Believe in Lima!
