LIMA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Lima Senior High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school enrolling 1,200
students in grades 9-12. The high school opened in 1955 after the merging of two local high
schools, South Tigers and Central Dragons. In August 2004, Lima Senior High School
moved to its new location complete with a state-of-the-art auditorium, media center and
gymnasium.
Students have the opportunity to choose a pathway that will guide their learning to prepare
them for their experiences after high school. Based on students interests, students can
choose one of the following pathways: BUSINESS, STEM, HUMANITIES or
UNDECIDED.
Lima Senior High School offers educational programs and options to meet students
individual needs. A student could follow either a college preparatory course, career pathway
or a career and technical course.

Students may also receive college credit through a variety of achievement programs as well
as College Credit Plus (CCP+). Sometimes it is possible to combine the best of all these worlds!

Our Mission: Lima Senior High School will...

BUILD a school community where every student is challenged and valued
PREPARE students with the skills to be productive citizens of the 21st century
ENCOURAGE an on-going partnership with family and community
PROVIDE an exemplary education to inspire independent thinking, dignity and discipline within each student
